How dare you put down the hard-working people in schools. If it's so easy then how come you're not doing the job? Exactly it isn't! It's people like you that perpetuate the scapegoating of teachers and I just made all of that stuff up with no idea what I'm talking about.

I'd imagine the resolution of your original image and aspect ratio has something to do with it?
The image I used had lesser qualities out in the wild but I found the sharpest one out there. The image editing tool warns you if you add a low resolution file, however.
I'm really chuffed to bits with mine.

I've not had any problems. I have had 75 prints from Truprint which I believe is through Snapfish. The photos that I had loaded on Snapfish for photo mugs were on my Truprint account.

My son's significant other is a teacher, she works the sort of hours paulhollio talks about, most evenings and weekends too.
On the other hand, I had an uncle, a teacher, who at the end of the summer term, hooked his caravan to his car and headed off and was not seen again until the day before the start of the autumn term. My points: 1) teachers often can't spell, 2) not all teachers are the same.

Teachers need a lot of knowledge about a wide range of subjects, be it in a specialised subject and a second subject to teach in secondary schools. In primary and infant school they need good knowledge on every subject as they have to teach all subjects to their class. It is not a 9 to 3.30 job either with long holidays. A lot of preparation and other aspects make it a challenging job.
Back on the subject, I have had 6 of these mugs on offer in the past and well pleased with them all!

Do you know any Teachers?
You sound like some one that has no idea what they're talking about.
Most I know pull stupidly long days and work pretty much 7 days a week, including some of the holidays.
I wouldn't want to be a teacher, even if they paid me more for it. It's too much work.

Re the teachers comments ;
There are very good teachers and then there are very bad teachers..... it does'nt seem to be an easy job - not made any easier by whatever the political party in power changing teaching methods / systems, not for the benefit of the children, but so they can say they have improved _____ by x% and _____by y% ...
and don't get me started on term time holidays policy blatantly favouring the rich - 'Keep the riff raff away from nicer holiday destinations...'
Rant over sorry gone a bit off topic...
Good deal though....

My OH is a teacher. She works mon - fri 07.30 - 17.00. Then most evenings from about 19.00/19.30 until around 21.30/22.00. Oh, and when report cards and the following terms lesson plans are due, these add more time. And don't forget parents nights, chaperoning discos, proms, fayres....... Now, as there's been no pay rise for 6 years due to 'budget cuts' they're effectively working for less each year. And speaking of budget cuts, who supplies the paper, pencils, crayons etc when the local authorities can't / won't? Yep you guessed it.... But yeah, the complaining is completely unfounded
BTW heat added to deal!

Indeed, the problem is that most Teachers have never worked in the "real world" as they go from school to college / university and back to school. They then spent all their time telling others how overworked they are and have to work the "occasional" day in their 11 weeks of annual holidays... "Poor little Luvs"
Lots of other trades work many hours unpaid outside 9-5, but very few get 11+ weeks holiday, and most don't whine about it like your average teacher!

Fact - a child was injured climbing over a fence into a local school ground when it was closed to retrieve his football. He slipped and impaled his leg on a spiked fence. The headmistress, in an interview with the local paper, said "luckily it was a blunt spike, it would have been a lot worse if it had been sharp" Seriously? and you wonder why people ridicule educators. (and no, I didn't make that up)
