OK so I know this is not a deal in the traditional sense, but considering how much it costs to see either of these 2 guys on a major tour in a London venue these prices are real bargains!

They also have mickey Flanagan tix too!

When he first came along in mock the week we went to see him, wasn't a good start when we got in to find you couldn't leave the auditorium. We sat there for about 45 minutes and he of course wasn't like in the tv or even his DVDs at the time and so offensive that only a group of 4 teenagers were laughing. After 45 minutes we went for the door, the staff tried to keep us there but once a few of us stood up half the place got up. Now everyone knows what to expect which is probably why the tickets are so cheap.

Saw Frankie this evening, pretty amusing, certainly rough n ready, some material you won't see on TV.

Be aware though, the show started spot on 6pm, we were out by 19.15, and i was surprised to see there was a 'warm up lesbian' for about twenty minutes )she was pretty good though), so about 40 mins of Boyle.

The guys were smashed when we were in the queue (one of them was even trying to chat me up, ha) - to be honest I think it was more their beliefs, judging by the comments they were shouting out, than trying to goad Jerry. Who knows, though.

If you read cookdandbombd and similar comedy forums you'll know that Sadowtiz HATES any unauthorised use of his material - he's well-known for getting Youtube clips taken down within hours - so it's nothing personal. He does this across the board.

Is he as good as Stewart Lee? Thinking about buying tickets for Sadowitz as I have never seen him and am intrigued as many people on this thread seem to say he is good and the original. Do many women go?

Well, I'm a woman, last time I looked :stuck_out_tongue: There is a mixed bag, people who actually think Sadowitz is the hateful, bigoted, take no prisoners character he portrays and "agree" with him, some more on the ironic side of the fence who love the shock value and don't take it too seriously - and I'm not kidding here - there were a few guys doing Nazi salutes next to us when we were in the King's Theatre a few years ago.

Not that I'm suggesting that Sadowitz has any affiliation with Nazis - but just highlighting the schizoid cross-section of nutcases/more reasonable people he attracts.

Edit: He would probably tell you to "F*** off" if he read the "Is he as good as Stewart Lee?" comment!

Practice shows, get the later in the run ones for the good jokes lol.

I saw Frankie in his practice show in Glasgow Citizens theatre for £10, which is the run where he did the netflix original show.

Saw bill bailey last year but that was the expensive ones lol

As a Glaswegian, got to agree - though Frankie does make me laugh sometimes. Always a soft spot for Sadowitz though (who I've seen live three times, and counting, to Frankie's zero.....) :laughing:

Frankie Boyle just isn't funny, he gets a few laughs from some people who are mildly shock-entertained by his offensive humour but his jokes aren't funny - his yelling gives me a headache!
Last time I went to a comedy club I heard Omid Djalili testing out his 'new' (copied from the internet) jokes. How these people get so famous is beyond me

These are practice shows so don't expect the same level of fluidity that you would at the o2. There might be some un funny jokes and reading from scripts but they are well worth it.
Check out local London comedy shows before Edinburgh and you can see loads of great acts for cheep.

Can't say I'm surprised mate. An imprisoned audience is the only way he'd have an audience. I get that his whole 'act' is about getting a reaction, and to that extent he's won when it comes to me because I think he's an utter ****, but that doesn't make him funny. Not funny at all.
