It's from Boomerang mate. Any codes will be unused. They don't send them out to their rental customers. It's an 'as new' purchase without cellophane and a cleaned disc

Now available as 'New' from a seller called GoodRead 1 for 17.03 (12.99 plus delivery). Slightly cynical as the seller only has 4 feedback scores dating many years ago but its through Amazon so i'm willing to try my luck!

1 month ago when they seemingly had a mis-price on the PS Store that morning.
it was a price glitch that was quickly fixed about 3-4 weeks ago

Oh yeah the fetch quests are trash for sure. Still I really enjoyed this game overall and easily recommend it.

I partly agreee and did say i thought the combat system was ok but it dosnt change the fact that this is laid out as an open world western rpg and has verry dull side quests (that i have played so far anyway) and ther is hardly anything to do in the world. You spend 10 minutes walking to a quest marker and get 1 encounter and a herb or 2 .And dont get me started on the car , the first time it took about 10 minutes to drive across the map j thought it was pretty funny but then it just becomes one of the worst fast travel mechanics ever devised

I'll still completely disagree. This isn't supposed to be like Horizon or Witcher 3 because it's a JRPG. I prefer the more active combat than turn based combat, that was a limitation of the system capabilities and what the developers could do. Instead of wasting my time grinding so that my numbers are high enough to fight enemies, now it's a fun active combat system.
I'll agree SMT Nocturne is great, but just because this game isn't like the older games doesn't make it any worse.

What?
I clearly outlined what i found to be issues with this game and imo it fails to come close to other open world games like the witcher and horizen and fails to be a decent jrpg. Turn based worked best and was what i used to like in ff games (i bought all from 6-13) mechanicly ,as ther can never really be too much of a challenge with sloppy active battle systems over decent turn based and it becomes mostly a button masher.
Any way i would say as much as i love old ff games smt nocturne blows most of them away (baring 8 which had the best side quest/ computerr card game ever made )

I got this on PSN for £9.99 a few weeks back, only bought it because it was cheap. Put it on the other day out of curiosity and was very surprised as to how good it actually is. I've never been into the final fantasy games but from the opening sequence when you're pushing the car down the road I was hooked... so much so in fact i've not played Horizon since

I've not played a FF game since FFXI. I've played them all upto 11 (which is online) . The rest never interested me. I bought X, played it for a short while. Got another one after that not sure which FF it was but didn't get very far. In fact only the start. Then my friend lent me his copy of XV. I had to buy a new TV since I'm still working on retro CRT. But as soon as I put the game on I haven't put it down. It's kind of linear but not as linear as FFX. You do get freedom of movement in the zones you're given. Do recommend it to anyone who's given up on FF and want to come back. The exp thing and night time is annoying.

I'm really hoping I feel the same. Didn't really enjoy the demos before release. But bought game for £10 off psn and held of playing it atm.
Stuck into diablo 3 currently for the season. But will try ff15 soon.

This is way better than FF10. The reason it's getting some hate here is because all these hipsters don't like that a new FF game is getting more copies sold than their old outdated turn based games.

Maybe good I missed out then. It all seems downhill since FF10.

I did buy it then and tbh it is pretty lame . The side quests are all boring the world is 75% empty (although is pretty) and don't even get me started on a fast travel system that can have you waiting through a 10 minute long car ride . It also received a lot of praise for the relationship between the characters , but I found them to be dull stereotypes too .
Combat system isn't horrible and is a great improvement over 13s horrible active turn based mess but still not as good as old fashioned turn based (ff10 and back ) .

Still gutted I missed the £9.99 deal. Tried to save money by using cd keys top up, item got removed from basket when I returned to PS store.. :disappointed: Lesson learned.

I managed to jump on the "PSN £9.99" bandwagon when it happened, but with such an extensive 2015/16 backlog to get through, i'm hoping some optimisation patches improve the game further, possibly in time for a PS4 Pro purchase (when it inevitably drops in price to compete with Scorpio).
