EA Access and Origin Access:

And as an Xbox owner, i get a tad jealous of the last of us, bloodbourne, horizon zero and that fancy VR headset. Only got the Xbox because of backwards compatibility (of games I'll probably never play again) and the UHD blu ray player (when I'm still on a 6 year old budget Sony set)
Ea access is pretty decent when on offer, a lot of tat included but there are a couple of gems.
If this rumoured ps pro slim gets a uhd drive, might be time to upgrade.

Yes I'm waiting for that then going to sign up, i did own FIFA 17 which i got free with the xbone but sold it on eBay for £25 wish I'd of just used it as 4 months later buyer gets a refund saying unauthorised use of card :disappointed: so yeah I'm looking forward to FIFA and BF1.

Great to get FIFA but bit bummed with the other two... as I own one... was expecting more.... was expecting army of two to be added (I own that too but still expected it)
It shows how good the service is that I have such high expectations - like others I have said I'll sell my ps4 copy...
And Gary Neville is in the Xbox one version...
Might even tempt me to play Ultimate team thing....

Of course. they arent going to give people £100s of games for nothing, people would just get one month a and have all those games, not the greatest way to run business or make money!
Mind boggles that how many people think they get to keep all the games after one month.

So have a think -
Do you think that someone could have one month's worth for a couple of quid, download literally hundreds of pounds worth of games, then keep them all?
Let us know how you get on after having a think about that.

Thanks for this heads up. I think EA Access is great this time of year for the free sports games. Madden in February, NHL in March, Fifa in April and then NBA Live in May.
I stopped buying Fifa at all in September due to being able to wait until this moment.

Thanks! Always find it slightly funny when people are so defensive over their choice of what is essentially a box of electronics  I miss out on Forza, EA Access etc but love Naughty Dog games and Bloodborne so it's all swings and roundabouts.

I'm not going to be playing with two TVs and comparing the difference so what does it matter if one is slightly better. Off topic I know but I (obviously) agree. I own both systems and a PC. PlayStation are on fire of late and MS have pretty much given up on releasing first party games, for now. Yes, Scorpio looks good but Sony will price PS Pro so aggressively at its release along with some mega bundles, it will be hard to ignore. All this should be good for the consumer.
Saying all that, EA Access is brilliant. The Andromeda trial saved me £40 so that's two years subs in the bag...

I feel for you missing out on Andromeda, one of the best games out this year. People who jump on the band wagon and dont want to play it because of facial animations which have been improved somewhat through the latest patch.
Seen as you decdied to even bring in PS4 ill say as much as the games are good that came out recently, they are in my opinion ver yoverated. Generally one time play through games with nothing to do once you complete the story once.
Name one recent PS4 game that i can come home to play with my friends that is really fun.... I cant think of any.

8 Apr 17#61
bloody hell, I'm surprised they're putting it on so soon, before 18 is even released. Surely this will tempt the majority of people to just carry on playing last years and wait for the game to appear on access. Unless they're thinking of moving fifa to a subscription model, which I think would be a good idea for all yearly sports games. It's practically propped up by a free to play model already.
