Thanks OP But IMHO paying a premium for the brand name is a waste of money. There are lots of other washing up liquids that are just as good, if not better, for a far cheaper price. Such as Lidl W5 Platinum or Aldi Magnum Premium.

Far Cheaper ? The Aldi Magnum is £0.75 for 500ml compared to £0.81 for the equivalent Fairy Platinum (granted you are buying a larger quantity) ..... not much cheaper then , I'll stick to what I know thanks .
Also there are some reviews on the Aldi Magnum that describe consistency issues and smell issues, I've never experienced anything like that before with Fairy Platinum washing up liquid

I've tried the Aldi Magnum Premium after seeing the Which? award sticker on it and thought I'd give it a try. Ended up being disappointed as it was pretty runny like most others and didn't last anywhere as long as Fairy liquid. In my opinion it's a false economy.

I've tried these as well but imo, the Fairy Platinum goes much further, as you need much less. The 2 others are both excellent but I found I needed to use more to achieve the same results. Either way I'll be stocking up, as these are much larger bottles so atm, is much better value!!

The Tesco deal is for 615ml so much better offer.

Tried Aldi washing liquid once , in my opinion it is rubbish.
Fairy platinum is far better you only need to use a small amount for good results and so the bottle lasts for ages.
heat added I will be stocking up with this. Thanks OP

75p for 500ml on their web site so even if it was on par with Fairy platinum which in my opinion it's not as I find it quite runny, there is very little difference in the price just 7p per bottle between the Aldi own brand product and Fairy Platinum , as the Fairy bottle is 615ml .

I am unsure to the shelf life on these (if there is one) but does anybody know if this will keep till mothers day 2018 , that'd be magic ...

never thought washing up liquid would produce such a heated and fuelled debate
The passion all you have brought to the table has touched me, though left me very much wondering whether I should shell out an extra 14p/litre for what has always been regarded in my house hold to be the only option when it comes time to do the washing up

Which magazine test on various levels not just consistency,
Cost per 100ml, Fat removing power, Foam duration, Tough grease removal., Scientific analysis VS personal opinion.
I am only pointing out the obvious.

There was a coupon on there for £1 off Fairy, but i just checked and it is no longer there, i printed it 2 days ago, but i think that due to this offer they have all now been printed as it was mentioned on other money saving websites.:disappointed:

You hammered yours at the right time it appears?, as all 'Fairy offers' are now clearly DONE!. :-(
It's a shame really?, but, more power to those that were actually able to capitalise on some of 'any' still?. :-)
