1p for 2 - there really is no excuse for lazy dog owners to not pick up their mutt's faeces.
I know the scummers that don't bother won't with this. But would probably pick up a penny! Could have saved us walking or falling in your dog's bowel movements. Think of the children!
Instead of fines - that rarely get enforced I think public poopers should have their addresses put on a database and the public are allowed to go and dump outside their address for 30 days per cm of poop!
It seems public toilets are being closed down all over the country. We may have to carry these as humans if we get caught short soon!!!
I have Labradors so their poop is quite big, and I've never had a problem picking it up with the nappy bags

It is absolutely correct that dog walkers should bag up the sh-ite, however it is totally socially unacceptable for said owner to stroll along swinging the offending bag like a discus thrower about to launch their missile, for God's sake stuff it in your pocket until you find a bin!
sicklysweet to muffboy
24 Apr 172#44
Putting to one side the fact that the idea of shoving the poop bags in your pocket disgusting, I challenge you try fitting 2 bags with huge piles of Labrador poop in your pocket
Oh, and then the older dog will squeeze another turd out just for fun once you've got half way through the walk, so no cheating, that needs to be shoved that into your pocket too.
You'll be walking like John Wayne and stinking like a public loo.
Plus it's gross enough feeling that warm stinky turd with your hands through the bag, having that feeling against my groin area (ie pocket area) is a horrific idea.

I really don't see the problem with the owner holding a poo in a bag once picked up and tied up. What on earth are they supposed to do with it until they find a bin. I certainly won't hang it on a tree, that is nearly as anti social as not picking it up at all.

24 Apr 172#61
Does this mean they will last longer now when people hang them from trees? (or leave them on the beach - I took part in a beach clean yesterday and the number of bags of poo that were picked up was ridiculous!).

Yea this annoys me too - I believe the logic behind it is that the horses don't eat meat so the crap will degrade in a much shorter period of time.
I'm sure it's true, but it's still horses*** if you ask me.

The OP has a good deal but we shouldn't be fooled by cardboard packaging or think about others ways to get a job (or jobbie if you pardon the pun) done. I love Home Bargains for it's offers but in this case the Tesco value nappy bags is a far better and cheaper solution. So it has to be a HOT for the nappy but will still up-vote this deal so others can find the nappy alternative.

I might buy a couple of packs and hang them near my childrens school. It seems dog owners enjoy letting their dogs poop in the tight alley which is probably half a mile long. Its disgusting that they don't clean up after themselves. dread to think what their houses look or smell like.

Thankfully I've never had that problem with the Tesco value nappy bags.
Thousands of poop-patrols & no duff bags or leakages yet.
I still always wash my hands with dettol after.
Makes me die a little inside when I see people pick up dog poop, then eat an apple or something after without some form of cleansing (alcohol gel when out, washing hands when home).
Or going to the pub garden, picking up poop and then eating chips with the same poopy hands.
Nope.
That's just nasty.

I see them - usually in places where a bin is no more than 200 metres away!
If anyone actually ever catches you in the act.
We have all these trespassers in new caravans and cars on our local parks. That we pay council tax to maintain. But the council take away bins and toilets for us residents but supply skips and port a pottys for these illegal trespassers. We have to pay to park our cars in the council car parks and will swiftly get fined if we don't.
These people don't seem to have to. Why is this? They have registration plates. Are their vehicles taxed and insured legally? And if not WTF are the police, paid for through council tax, not doing a damn thing about it!!!!?
Councils across the country are closing toilets, removing bins and dog poo bins, which in reality cost very little to maintain. Houses are getting demolished all over the place to be replaced with flats.
Where the F is this increase in council tax going? 1 house - 6 flats......1 toilet in half a mile to 0

Great tip! Should post as a deal? Not many sensible people enjoy throwing money away but when cleaning up your dog's big brown bakes sensible dog owners understand you have to pick up their warm deposit and bin it!
Not that the councils are making that any easier due to constantly removing bins of all sorts.
Or is that just our sh177y council - Literally!!!
Bins, dog bins and toilets are getting removed on a weekly basis. The council doesn't seem to do anything about the travellers that move onto our public parks though.
Well they do. They supply portaloos and skips. Not that they ever get used.
Glad to see our council tax being well spent!!!
Not on local people or tourists that pay tax and bring a lot of money to the local area. But people who contribute nothing, do what they want and leave the place looking like a literal toilet.
Without wanting to come across all Littlejohn / Farage - it's really not on!! No other country in Europe puts up with it.

I buy these ones, mainly just because they're black and not see-through along with the price. It's bad enough having to hold the bag, but I definitely don't want to be seeing the mushed up contents inside the bag that I'm holding.
