Exploding Kittens, the most-funded game in Kickstarter history, is now available for Android!
Created by Elan Lee (Xbox, ARGs), Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal), and Shane Small (Xbox, Marvel).
KEY FEATURES:
- Exploding Kittens is a multiplayer card game for people who are into kittens and explosions and laser beams and sometimes goats.
- Play with 2 to 5 friends or strangers online
- All art illustrated by The Oatmeal
- New cards exclusive to the digital version of Exploding Kittens
- The digital version of the most backed game in Kickstarter history
In this highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette, players draw cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of the game -- unless that player has a Defuse card, which can defuse the Kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens.

Don't worry, no kittens were hurt in the making or playing of the game.

Received the game as a present for Christmas so only right to have the paperless version too.

Not sure about the digital version, but my son seems to love it.
As a family we absolutely love the card game (kids 9 and 13) and would fully recommend it despite it's price for a few cards. Best value we've had out of a game in years.
It can get a tad vicious though!

Tried the Android game and wasn't that impressed to be honest. It's not bad for 10p, but, for me, wasn't even worth the £1.70 it's normally priced at.

Have you played the card game?
I think the app is quite confusing/overwhelming for a new player.
It's much easier once you've had a few proper games around a table.

Is this multiplayer on one device?

A fantastic game, I paid full price and don't regret it. It has a few new cards that wouldn't work in the real card game. Also worth noting the app is multiplayer only

love this game paid full price even bought extra cards which make the game definitely more fun and a lot more reply value that way. I have had this game for ages like more than a year already on android. 10p is good start but get the extra cards they make it worth it

Just got this.
It's not bad but certainly not worth the full price... You are limited to the basic game and have to pay extra (multiple times) to unlock more/full-game.

Bought this about a week ago for full price. It's fun but you have to pay extra for extra decks and avatars. Should be free, given the number of IAPs

You have to pay extra for extra content? Who'd have thought.
In call of duty you have to pay for extra map packs too, steer clear

Bought the card version (and NSFW) when they were lightning deals so might give this a go for 10p... cheers OP, didn't even know there was an app version!

Disappointed this doesn't have the ability to play against AI. Just uninstalled. I had the actual game though and played it for the first time last night with my children, and thought it was brilliant!!! Highly recommended
