Pass is valid for 12 months from purchase, making this an amazing deal considering walk in price alone is more for 1 visit!
I'm aware that you can get a ticket online for around £30 but if you want to go at least a couple of times, this is very good!
You have to pay a bit extra to go on events such as fright night!
Possible 3% Quidco cashback also!

So you were capable of searching for flight prices to Heathrow, but had to ask for someone to tell you where Thorpe park is located ?

You're right to some extent but in my opinion, it isn't that bad. Like I said on another thread, if you get there early, you can go on more than 10 rides. Whenever we go, we do that, go back to the car for lunch ( to avoid the wasps), go to the 4D movie theatre and sometimes the mini theatre and pirate show by the bay. Never have I or will I buy the Qbot - pure extortion. My kids are under 10 and only like gentle rides so Alton towers is no good to us. I did think about Thorpe park for a change this year but they have asked to go to Legoland again. It might also have something to do with them loving Lego. Just waiting for the annual pass sale now as I've already booked our hotel stay.

It looked very messy, in need of decoration, rides very outdated, queues were terrible for what the rides were. Had a Merlin Season pass so it wasn't the cost of entry that bothered me but we never went again and i've seen the same feelings echoes many times.

Out of curiosity, what was so bad?

Do you know how much those tend to be? And is there a newslettter list or something that we could subscribe to for receiving notifications?

Really? We said we wouldn't go in there if we were given free access. I can't imagine it has got any better. Shocking place 3 years ago.

Didn't realise you live at the end of the world, I think alton towers is about as good and nearer you if you ever wanted to visit a theme park.
Can you go to a theme park in spain for less including travel?
Or just comparing apples to oranges?

If you or anyone you know works for NHS (or one of the other emergency services, etc) check out:
They usually have offers all year round equivalent to the Merlin sale prices. They will ask to see the NHS workers ID when you pickup the passes so you can't trick them

WARNING their website has a LOUD jump scare advertising their new ride for no bloody reason. Turn your speakers down.

Like Merlin needs to further risk the safety of their coasters!

They have gone up now but I got merlin passes for 109. They seem to be on offer regularly. I think it's worth the extra for more choice of parks.

I don't know of any I'm afraid. I have bought them the last two years and only ever saw the deals here first. It's was half price for the passes - Adult £55 and Child £42.50.

It is, but why would you want to go in the Winter anyway? Most theme parks are closed during Winter also.
