Dr Martens. Pretty good selection and they are made incredibly well. They also have some nice bags / satchels.

To save people a click, the vast majority of these "clearance" shoes are over £60.

'Incredibly well'? Adequately perhaps and the old ones were pretty awful materials that would split at various points within months not years. Still, despite their reputation the new ones can't be any worse!

Agreed my wife had a pair of boots and the soles split in 6 months. Plenty of better quality boots for the price.

Did you have one bad pair, or several? I made one pair of 8's last two years while using them as work boots, and they were on my feet for nearly 10 hours everyday. I then had them resold and used them for a while longer until the toes wore through. I thought that was pretty good considering the abuse they suffered.

Thanks for the heads up but with so many OOS items it's silly. They always seem to do this....

It was difficult to look hard with martens with jeans over and a basin haircut and a bomber jacket, thanks mum.

If you are a girl please note that once you star wearing these you will also stop shaving your arm pits and legs, and probably stop using deoderant too.

Every pair I've owned the last forty years, split/detaching soles, separating uppers, tearing heels, disintegrating insoles, stitching tearing out and leather crumbling. Never had a pair last much past a year before they leaked. I only bought them the last fifteen years because people on ebay can't spell - docs dockies dockers DM's martins, gets the price on new/nearly new as low as £1.20 last year!
