It's easy to gloss over individual deals in my lists and this is undeniably good value

The reason it took so long was because I had to walk away from it so many times and take a break. Since I was using a DS4 my thumbs now resemble bloody stumps. All worth it for the imaginary trophy though!

bought the upgrade last week for a tenner, haven't used it yet as I was still waiting on a deal for the disc, will get a refund under the 2 weeks unused policy and buy the complete pack.

Thanks Bubaman  does seem most VR titles are on sale, but I thought this was the best discount.

Tough game, but very rewarding when you nail something right!
Also looks really good in VR, better than DriveClub VR

Best driving experience on the the PS4. It is amazing in VR.

I love Driveclub, but this is definitely a better driving game.
Graphics are better as long as you don't look behind.
But it is very challenging.

It's a much better VR experience - no view drift and no reduction in functionality or lighting effects.
I think I still prefer DriveClub as a non-VR driving game though - DIRT is rock hard (made slightly easier with VR strangely)

It's a different type of game. It's a simulation, and as such is much harder to get going with. However, the draw is how rewarding it is when you get it right. You need zen-like focus to take in the pace notes whilst also trying to keep the car on the road. It's excellent. Personally, I've played more rallycross than anything else.

Brilliant experience on VR, my go-to game to be honest and hard to see going back to plain 2D driving games after this.

Hot. Is this the standard version with VR or Legend edition with VR?
Just wondering if its worth buying the legend edition then get the vr upgrade.
Thanks

Very tough game without a wheel, found the Rallycross tracks a bit boring tbh. Sold my Legend Edition on ebay for £12.50 last week, thought it would get more considering it was like new. :disappointed:

I'm undecided about this, I have it on PC but for me it was so hard it became boring, guess I'm more of a Sega Rally guy! But I do have PSVR at this is a cracking price for a full on VR game...... what to do!

When they overprice and list 57.99 for digital and then say it is 20 quid. It would look like a deal. But really... Lol

Where can you get a physical copy for less than £20 with the VR add on?

Yea got this yesterday I thought it was a good deal.
I thought about it for a bit as I already have Dirt Rally on a much more powerful gaming PC. Managed to hack together the necessary tools to A) get the PSVR working my PC then B) get an Oculus exclusive to work on Steam VR to allow PSVR. But it was just too buggy, kept telling me to put on my headset half through a race and didn't actually look 3d at all.
Got the PS4 version and it's actually very good. Ok the graphics aren’t amazing and there seems to a little of drift (no pun) in VR but certainly worth it.

Very impressive in VR but made me sick as a dog almost immediately!

I can buy a car for the prices of those wheels! I'll stick with the controller.

I think the best entry level proper force feedback wheel for ps4 is the Thrustmaster T150.. Also works on PC. Currently cheapest is £120, has been as low as £45 at argos but you will be lucky to every see that again.
Cheaper wheels can be had but they are unlikely to be force feedback ie won't resist against you turning the wheel depending on what is happening with the car in the game.

The point I was making was that if it was 40 down to 20 then yeah. But they always hike up the digital prices.

No they don't, Dirt Rally with the VR bundle was discounted at launch as an introductory offer. It then went up when the offer ended and the price hasn't changed until the sale this week
Opening post
VR add on is also on sale for £7.39 if you already have the base game. Cheers Bubaman
