dont get much at all for the disc, as no matter what version you get its the base game on the disc and its being sold for peanuts used.

No. There's lfg sites of course but they suck mostly. You can meet people through them but if you're always playing solo it's not worth it

There is a story yeah its a little confusing now as you have to select the next mission rather than be told i struggled to follie it tbh. Good game tho i just treated each mission as a separate task if u know shat i mean

Well I love this forum. And its been 3 years since i have been playing the game.
Destiny is the kind of game that makes you feel like a god and I think it does that in a brilliant manner. And it engages you very efficiently. There is a huge community behind it as well if you are on reddit.
Destiny 2 is coning out in September and this deal comes at the right time for players to get unto the game :-)

I have the base game along with the first 2 DLCs; I dont have the Taken King or Rise of Iron. Is it worth playing these last 2 DLCs in preparation for Destiny 2. Would there be a gap in the story if I don't complete these DLCs?
Do we know if we can import anything (weapons, skins ghost etc) to Destiny 2?

I purchased it from the Playstation store the other day when it was on offer and am loving it, so much more to do than in the first year!
edit: as far as I know you can't carry anything over

You must play the Taken King and ROI as the story will make a lot of sense once you have played it both.
Also, you get to play two awesome raids, in particular the Kings Fall. For this money, you will get loads back in return :smiley: Get it.
You cant transfer anything except your earned emblems. But why bother with transferring when a new game is going to be out. Don't you wanna start afresh :smiley:

More player base on PS4 obviously as the exclusive weapons and armor are with PS4. I am on Xbox One and its also fine by the way as there are so many people playing it now :smiley:

On PS4 the player base is naturally bigger but Xbox One now has integrated LFG and that's very useful for a game like this.

Destiny has its haters - those people who bought it at the beginning and didn't stick with it. To be fair to them not a lot on release. But if you like FPS - either campaign or multiplayer - I'm not sure what you can get better for £20?

Now that all the raids are back on a weekly challenge its worth it for this price, only problem is everything gets deleted when Destiny 2 comes out towards the end of the year. So enjoy it while you can, it has some of the best team activities you can find in a game.

Never went beyond the vanilla disc but played MP more than anything. Do the DLC's add a lot of additional MP maps?

Great, Argos are hopeless! So I ordered mine received confirmation of the PayPal payment, however apparently no order went through. Argos customer service are useless and the game is no longer in stock.

They mean you cannot carry your character and progress over to Destiny 2. The servers will continue for Destiny for the foreseeable future.

Sorry my mistake, initially it looked like they were going to drop Destiny 1, but now they've officially said they're going to keep Destiny 1 servers going for a while for anyone who wants to keep playing and will roll out the occasional patch but nothing will carry over to Destiny 2, which is going to be a new separate game on its own.

You'll only be able to do stuff together that was In the original base game like the the main story that ends with the Black Garden mission, the strike playlist (but only strikes again that were in the base game any that came after wont be accessible without the DLC) and crucible. Im not sure about the Vault of Glass raid, im guessing you would be able to play the old original version but not the new updated 390 light challenge version
