Dark Souls III Game of the Year Edition is planned for April 21, having all DLCs.
Is this the version that comes with Dark Souls 1 too?

It should do. My standard edition copy came with the download code inside. I assume they all do.

Hopefully so as it will be backwards compatible but just wasn't 100% sure if this will include physical copies. I have mainly been purchasing Xbox games digitally as I like the idea of Microsoft becoming more like Steam meaning you will always have your digital library. I never trade in my old games so digital is good for me. When it comes to PlayStation and Nintendo I mainly purchase physical copies as the future of digital is not yet clear with them.
