Bought it in previous deal. It was expired as it was oos in most stores. No clue how you managed to find the item being available in certain parts of the country

Quite simple really, I put a few different cities in the store search {where I have family or friends} and lots of different stores stocked them!! try Cardiff, Manchester, Reading,London, Bristol to name but a few!! Hope this helps.

Good deal but got to hope the stores have the stock after the deal posted other day. Ive always tended to look at their overstocks above the shelf as they usually have the bargains up there and dont know they have any stock

I've been after one of these since the first deal came up but no local stores to York have had them sadly. Might hold out and see if any get stock of them and if not go for one of these... Titan at Screwfix

Having same problem, just says
"THE FOLLOWING ITEMS CANNOT BE COLLECTED TODAY"
Had this problem in the past with B&Q. Presume the initial check is incorrect and it checks properly at checkout. Or they block click and collect for deals in low stock in case the store inventory is incorrect.

useless off as B&Q website is rubbish, I ordered this one from the first Time paid for collection than an email popped in saying that it's out of stock, 3 days on and I'm still waiting for refund, they quick to take your money but taken few days for refunds, they should not take money until properly reserved and collected

I managed to pick up one showing stock in the Newport IOW store earlier today. Was going there for a day trip, so pretty pleased got one as a brilliant piece of kit for the price. Cardbox outbox as posted earlier was a right dogs ear, however, kit inside was spotless.

Got one from the other deal a few days ago. Same with me the cardboard box was damaged and the seal broken. Went onto B&q chat on their website and they refunded 10% back onto my card. £6.50 off

Cheers, tried live chat but had to leave an email message instead, will see if they offer me an additional 10% too!!

Ok just got off live chat and didn't get anything lol, just said wasn't too happy that box was damaged as was a gift but alas nothing..however, the agent did confirm more stock was available in the Newport IOW store. Maybe worthwhile for someone in the south coast to buy online and make a nice day trip to the Isle of Wight (especially with school half term next week!) as you can leave up to 14 days to collect.

Seems you can order for home delivery, I got to the card input part without the "isn't in stock" warning (it threw that up for the shovel) but decided I will wait for a new model to come on offer as I already have a couple of 18v 2am coolpack with my multitool.

Can confirm order went through.
As a bonus had a 5% code in my account so got it for £61.75 (not sure what the code was, just one i'd previously entered for another order I hadn't completed).
Also if you order now it selects Sunday delivery and charges £5. Couldnt figure out how to change that at first, but at the final stage you can select a more convenient date. Changing to Monday removed the £5 charge.
Thanks for the post. My old NICAD Makita finally gave up a few months ago, so needed a drill. This is worth it just for for the batteries (only DIY, so 3 x 1.5aH is probably better then a single higher capacity battery as I can get a some other bare body bits). Just need to find a compatible impact driver now, any suggestions

This is part of the Light series from Bosch, so although it is in their professional range, it is not very professional... marketing, huh?
Yeah I was looking and did think I may as well hang onto my 10.8v drill driver and impact driver as they are not far behind these, as of yet anything that defeated the drill driver was obliterated by the impact driver and for the really big jobs I get the GBH 26 out it's box and use mains power.
Still a worthy investment for any DIYer or professional who wants something for occasional use.
It is an end of life product as Bosch have moved onto coolpack batteries where the charger has a build in fan to cool the charge cycle increasing the charge rate by quite a bit along with a heatsink on the battery pack and the drills are all going to brushless increasing the life of them.

I've been mulling over which way to go since my Makita died.
I know both Makita and Bosch are heading towards Brushless. I didn't know the battery's have improved on the Bosch range. Wireless charging also sounds good, but probably not a deciding factor for DIY.
I've put the order in for this because of the 3 batteries. Looking around the GDR-18V-Li has been down as low £60 on Amazon. So hopefully I can grab that next time its reduced. Which for ~£120 would give me the Combi + Impact, a 1.5aH battery for each and a spare that can be on charge. Could also grab a multi-tool body only if a deal pops up (presuming they do one that uses the same battery).
I've been looking around if there are any deals on the Brushless/CoolPack alternatives, but it seems i'd be looking at ~£160 for the GSB 18VEC with 2aH battery's and then ~£130 body on for the GDR/GDX 18VEC. Are there any better deals that i'm missing? Because I'm not sure its worth it for more then double.
Right now i'm thinking i'm better of grabbing this and seeing if a deal pops up for the newer range later. These battery's would still work, but maybe I could grab the driver with coolpack battery if a decent deal pops up, so I have a newer higher capacity battery for intensive DIY'ing .

Deals do pop up on here for the new models, I missed an EC 18v a few weeks back.
Battery wise just keep an eye out, Campbell Miller Tools have some good prices on batteries. I picked up some 2.5ah 10.8v batteries for £25 a pop when they were £40 everywhere else (this was over a year ago before anyone starts showing they are under £40 now)

Mine just arrived, box is pristine, so can't try to haggle an extra discount like some others have
Drill says 18-2-LI-Plus, presume the plus just means batteries/kit or something?
For ~£60 very happy with it  Just need a cheap GDR Impact to pop up now.

Well spent the whole day using the drill (albeit just driving long deck screws) patching up the decking. Single battery lasted the whole day, definitely no regrets buying at the deal price . Am also going to invest in a gdr too, will wait for a price or £60 or better before biting though.
