Are there any dustbusters out there that actually work!? I won't buy a Dyson, what other options are there? Most last like 15 minutes a charge and have useless suction.

No idea what the other posters are on about I've had other hand held models that are cheaper and had poor suction but this model has been able to do the job and is a fraction of the cost of similar but far pricer brands, there's no pleasing some folk!!

Me neither mate. Seems people want to be able to vacuum an entire house with these which is not what they're designed for.
This should do just fine for cleaning your car or smaller tasks at home.

entire house? what are you talking about,I had one of these and I bought it just to clean inside the car and corners etc the suction was so poor it would miss even pieces of paper and dust in front of it..
you must have VERY low expectations if you are happy with these.
and it's not just me go check reviews of these black and decker dustbusters..8/10 are negative.

Mate, if 8 people out of 10 are happy with it, it can't be that bad.

I said 8/10 negative.
negative doesn't mean happy.

Where do you get your reviews from because I can see on amazon, an average rating of 4.5/5.0 (i.e 9 out of 10 people) are happy with it.

As long as it's better than that other PAD1200 model they do it should be ok, but after the hassle with that one I just bought a Dyson DC34 for the car and am really happy with the performance of that.

I bought one with the extended handle accessory and we have been really pleased with it. The big vacuum hardly ever comes out these days. As for power it has plenty. The last one I had which was a few years ago admittedly was pathetic but this actually does the job you expect it too,

i bought the same make, same design but instead of 21.6w the one I bought was 27wh. its pretty powerful for a cordless. Quite a few on the shelf at COSTCO in Leeds for £43.00
