Dishwashers have little to go wrong in my opinion, a pump, a heating element and some electrics. So cheap ones should last ok. Although I had a Bosch that lasted from mid eighties to around 2011. It was still working, though was rusting from the outside! Hugely inefficient though compared to modern ones.

I disagree. I've got a Bush and it's 2 years old. The seals have come off and it leaks water. t
The child lock doesn't work and it doesn't wash very well. I've since found reviews for mine WISH I HAD LOOKED BEFORE I BOUGHT!

looking to replace 13 year old machine. Anyone know what true cost of ownership over say 10 years for this as compared to a more expensive Machine?
