Price seems quite good right now, 600w PSU's are good for most systems running single GPU set ups. (Depending on specs) Should be enough to keep your hardware happy. I think a lot of folks are mislead into beleiving that more wattage = More power
A decent quality PSU an absolute must
Reviews are decent and if you're trying to keep cable management ship shape, this should make things much easier. Tidy cables can help airflow for cooling in general too, and in my experience more cables = more dust catchers. I hate having cables just flapping around my system (Don't even...)
Aesthetically pleasing too, if that's your thing. My PSU is currently hidden away out of sight, but when I look at it I feel a selfie coming on

Personally, I'd go for the EVGA 650 GQ. Gold rated, 50 more watts, fan-less mode, 2 more years on the warranty. Worth the 2 quid extra in my book.
It's an absolute no brainer, I can't see any logical reason to go for the Be Quiet over the EVGA.
The extra 50 watts and the Gold efficiency aren't likely to be that useful to most people in the real world (though I suppose the gold efficiency will help to claw back some of your extra £2), but the silent, fanless mode will be useful to everyone who uses the PSU and an extra 2 years of warranty is great for peace of mind.
Sorry, OP, I had to vote cold on this on the basis the EVGA makes much more sense for an extra 2 quid and is being sold by the same place.
Agree with you, if I were in need of a PSU I'd buy this instead.

Be Quiet generally good but they HAVE made some boob-boos... Do find out what PSU it really is... If it's good, heat (not voting)

I have a Be Quiet 600w (non-mod), been using it for almost 5 years never let me down.

600w is PLENTY if you're running a single GPU with an OC'd CPU, I've been running my same XFX 550w Pro since 2011, on multiple systems ranging from AMD 6 cores, 8 cores, i7's and now an i5, all overclocked too, currently running an i5 6600k OC'd to 4.5ghz with a GTX 970 perfectly fine on the same PSU, even though it's roughly 6 years old.

How would this perform with a msi R9 390 8gb? Currently running a Corsair 750M and receiving coil whine, ive read a change of PSU can often fix that.

do remember to deal direct with the manufacturer if you need to claim on the warranty,
and you will have to ship it to germany at your own expense .

Good deal but E Buyer no thanks. Should be E Buyer Beware
Yeah...eBuyer or some Austrian 3rd party seller on Amazon with 2 feedback. Hard choice.

Apart from the fact you might as well buy the EVGA which has been discussed in this thread, it'll perform fine with an R9 390. I know it's a power hungry card, but 650w will be enough.
However, I'd be doubtful that it'll cure your GPUs coil whine issues. You'd be better off RMA'ing the GPU (assuming it's still in warranty) than swapping out PSUs and hoping for the best.

On first glace, yes, this would do fine with that GPU, but to make sure, use pcpartpicker, select the parts you have in your build, and it will show you how much watts your pc will use up, I'm pretty sure your system won't take up more than 500w tbh.

Will always stick with the Be Quiet PSU units purely on their after support. Had a PSU fail after 15 months, within 3 days they had replaced it with a brand new upgraded model
The price on this is good for me, voted hot
I dont see the point in your response its not helpful at all, all you are saying is dont trust people with low feedback, but how do they get that feedback if people 1. Dont buy the item or 2. dont leave feedback like a lot of people dont.
So yeh, your response is kind of a pointless one and all i have gotten from you is dont trust mat101101 because of low feedback

If you genuinely can't see that there may be some difference in risk, which needs to be considered, between buying from a large, well established UK business and a new, foreign 3rd party seller on Amazon, then I'm not really sure what to say...
Post the one you found as a deal if you're so confident in it, see how well it does.*
As for my 'feedback' (not quite sure where I'm supposed to have this feedback, but anyway...), I'm not trying to sell anyone anything. For what exactly do I need 'feedback'?
*EDIT: Just noticed, you've not posted a deal in the 3 years you've been a member of HUKD. What a surprise...

I'm running a 1070 and i7 on a 330w PSU absolutely fine - I haven't had a single problem in almost a year - It's an alienware x51 if anyone cares...

That doesn't surprise me at all. You're looking at, what ~150w max for the 1070 and ~90-100w max for the i7? That leaves you plenty left over for low power draw stuff like drives, RAM, motherboard etc.
Nvidia's x70 cards offer a lot of performance for the price and wattage, you can get away, as you've found out, with a pretty low output PSU.

Kitguru reviewed it and scored it 8.

From the same series, Jonnyguru reviewed the 800W version and scored it 9.1

And yes, skimming these reviews while both are FSP and seem to be based around a similar design, the EVGA uses better capacitors. The be quiet! might use a better quality fan but I'd rather have good caps.
So voted cold because of the EVGA.
