I'm sure Argos love 'customers' like you who borrow something, use it, then return it so the next purchaser gets a secondhand one.

What? You come on here recommending a cheap (but crap) foot pump which a bit of research will show isn't going to last much longer than the proverbial prawn sandwich, then you take it back? Has it packed up already then?

You are better off using a track pump than wasting money on these, if you try using it on slightly uneven ground you'll crumple it into scrap metal, very cheaply made.

You can get a 12v electric tyre pump for £4.99 from home bargains, they sell them all year round. Very similar to this one. They were £3.99 till recently but still good value at £5, I got mine about 3 years ago and has been very reliable keeping my car and bike tyres inflated.
A far better bet than the Argos foot pump, which won't last long. Read the reviews - they're mostly fine for when it first arrives (as you'd expect) but a disturbing number give one star and say it's failed quickly. These things are designed to fall apart after a few uses - and they will. The reviews, sadly, confirm the inevitable.

Is it worth the 5 mile cycle to HB? Of course it is! But needed one right now & Argos had it ( just under 2k walk ). Argos did me proud today

only issue with these is the dual gauge is highly unreliable and inaccurate

Foot pump? For a car? I'd only go back to that if said car had no 12 volt socket and I'd developed an irrational fear of crocodile clips. The compressor types are much less tedious to use. :man:

Maybe that's why they don't last long - not designed for cars perhaps.

It blew my tyre up!! Got 225 40 18 lowered so no spare ( 400 bar for a spare ). My choice was £40 recovery min or this little pump & the £4.50 pump did me proud. So thank you Argos...

these are great if you love bending the arms on the peddle on the same day as you buy it.

Was shocked how big the box was, did ask the teller is that it.. OK extra pumps needed to blow my tyre up ( good work out for the one leg tho ) but did a great job on my mountain bike so for £4.50 am happy not to forget my cash back £0.04 pmsl. Hopefully will only every use it on my bike & Air bed :innocent:

Don't bother with any of them. None of them last more than a few weeks. Get the compressor sort - oddly they're not that much more expensive and they last a lot longer than these things.
