Was looking for better headphones after the AKG K92 deal that was recently posted and came across this.
They are great for gaming due to it's imaging and clear sound (easy to pinpoint enemies).
They are open ear though, so it's only suitable for people who don't mind the sound leaking through for others to hear.
Description:
Thanks to their light honeycomb exterior and magnesium frame, the Audiophile Headphones are beautifully easy to wear. Without putting pressure on the ears - they give a completely natural listening experience.
The 3D wing support system automatically adjusts to your head for the optimal fit, letting you enjoy hours of music in complete comfort.
Great sound
Audiophile Headphones boast 53 mm drivers with CCAW (Copper-Clad Aluminium Wire) voice coils to deliver natural sound with incredible bass and powerful vocal projection. Experience true high fidelity audio reproduction whatever music you're listening to.
Versatile connections
Featuring a 3.5 mm gold-plated connecter and 6.3 mm adapter, you can play music straight from a portable device or at home and professional music sources.
The 3 m cable gives you extra flexibility, however you choose to listen – use them for comfortable, personal TV viewing.
Get the most out of your music at home or on the move with the Audio Technica Audiophile ATH-AD500X Headphones
Its the cheapest it's ever been on Amazon but its currently sold out.

Had a pair of v1 Momentums for nearly 3 years now, really enjoy them, listen to mostly house/techno.

I have an older pair of Audio Technica headphones and they just sound incredible for music production.
If you want overly amplified basslines to make your eyes bleed then buy Beats or some other garbage.

V shaped headphones are fun sounding and enjoyable. Flat or neutral can be a bit bland. Depends what you need them for. Having multiple is preferred of course. Nice sounding bass doesn't equal Beats.
Yeah, although there's a 1-4 weeks waiting time though.

For 90 quid, they don't look very premium...

That is true. The wing shape at the top is a bit strange as well!
It is all metal though. Its not some cheap plastic. Its really light too.
I think you'd be purchasing these for the great sound quality and comfort it provides.

They look better in person, but they're definitely not fashion accessories. They look the way they do for 1) sound 2) comfort, both of which they excel at. You can wear them all day and you would not feel any discomfort at all, you'd barely notice you're wearing them.

Good headphones from great manufacturers, just remember open backed so significant sound leakage, but not really a design that is comfortable for travelling about. Seems Audio-Technica headphones are generally discounted online at the moment, if you could go up a bit more would say try the AD700x from some places at £110 and are an insanely good pair of headphones for using for music or general pc use.
