Just seen them 3 hours ago at ASDA in Summerston (Glasgow). They are 1.50 £ and there are several boxes. I need good knives and the price is tempting. Are they worth it? Because I bought 4 years ago a plain knives set, the same brand, for 8 £ and they were awful. These seem better, that´s true, but...

I have these, they are decent for three pounds but they are used as a back up to a back up of the kitchen devil set. Avoid unless you're a student on a tight budget :wink:

I have acouple of Sabatier kniver and Victorinox, but cant beat my basic Kitchen Devils with Plastic handles, surgical steel that holds an edge. I bought 5 sets for the family 12 years ago and wish I had bought more.
