Use code VC15OFF
Possible quidco but might not work when using code...
This is a really good price for the 128GB version of the IPhone SE... Cheapest price on pay as you go is £439 from John Lewis so your only paying £100 more for the contract.
2GB is on the low for data but for a lot of people this could be okay, I live in Newcastle so there is wifi all over the city, I get wifi in work for free now and at home too so there isn't much need for anymore for me! Especially when you have 128GB storage too you can save all your Spotify albums before you leave the house so you would just be using it for facebook probably!

People with standard iPhone 6 are already complaining that their phones are sluggish due to Apple's software tactics. So I can't imagine what's anything older than ip6 like? I only have 6 + and it's still usable but probably as soon as ip8 drops I will experience the same issue.

I had an S7 for a week last week, fully intending to move back to Android after a year with the SE. The camera was amazing, beating the very decent iPhone SE hands down. Everything else was less impressive - even with 4GB of RAM, it still stuttered and lagged when scrolling through Facebook and some webpages. Seriously great hardware - but coming back to Android after 12 months away reminded me of why I finally gave in to iOS after many years last year. Just a personal opinion, by the way, and only offered in the interests of balance...

The basics of a phone that 99% of people only use will be the same on phones 5 years ago compared to today. I mean I know there are edged screens and hard press functionality but in all honesty I dont care for them. I like duel cameras but I can live without it. Has anyone actually been given this deal? It seems they run credit checks until they get declined then turn you down. I spoke to EE and they set-up two contracts in my name (when I only wanted one) and gave me the account numbers. The third was declined due to the amount of times it had gone through. Mobiles.co.uk said it was declined and EE say it's been approved!
EE did say they can't match the deal and it may be a way of them getting peoples contact details. Has anyone received the deal?
Thanks

I had this on a similar deal a couple of months ago. I tried to buy 2 phones in my name and ended up with 8 tentative accounts, all failing 'credit' checks. Latter is a bit of a misnomer, not a proper credit check just EE restricting new customers to one account. Phone EE confirm no accounts are active, then phone Mobiles and get them to try just one order again.

I'm not sure what the expectations for the majority of people are, but if i'm spending anything in the region of £540, i expect the device to do everything i want and more without any compromises, i don't want to justify being ripped off by making excuses like, "i didn't need that feature anyway", after all, we all want the most for our money, right ?

I've heard people say when phones arrived from this company they were from Eastern country. One man said it was refurbished not new and Apple said they couldn't repair it under warranty as it was from another country. Obviously the shop would be obliged to fix it but quire a few people said phones were arriving and we're refurbished. I asked this on their Facebook page and got blocked.
I'm wondering if this is why they can offer these cheap deals.

I have a 5SE it's brilliant no problems. 16Gb. The latest iOS updates have improved it's performance generally so it runs a bit faster than when new and the battery life is a tad better. I can charge every other day which I think is OK.
I doubt it'll get iOS 11 so there will be lock outs, but it runs most apps I want currently. I reckon it's got another 2 years I can't see a compelling reason to upgrade for my purposes. The way people talk about old iPhones you would think they were non functional. This 5S does what it did when I bought it 18 months ago.
I'm not a power user (I'm just talking about "phones" here) but I use it for social media, audio recording, news (apps are easier to read that online browser imo), internet radio and the like (with bluetooth headphones). Aside from that and general phone and camera use I mostly use it for music making, running several apps simultaneously. Maybe a drum sequencer with filters, into a synth processor, into some effects. It has enough grunt to run some really tasty little apps! It also syncs well with an 8 year old Mac Pro.
I'm aware of obsolescence I passed my 4S down. Donor is chuffed to bits with it. She doesn't use it for games though - it's calls, txting, facetime, email, diary, lists and notes, taking pics, whatsapp, web browsing.. etc.

Thank you for posting this, Chrisredmayne: much appreciated. l've placed my order, just waiting for confirmation etc. My only niggle is the £30 cashback. You have to "Send your 7th, 12th, 16th, 20th and 24th monthly bills within 60 days of the date stated on the relevant airtime bills to us and we will credit you by cheque with £6.00" Bit of a fiddle and designed, I suspect, to weed out the less motivated penny-pinchers. I mean really, crediting by cheque? That's just perverse!

Benred, I think you've picked wrong option, I almost did when I ordered a month ago. On correct deal you don't have to claim cash back on certain months. Is just pay £20.99 a month. I had bit of issue getting my sim activated due to an error by EE. However, EE customer services sorted this out as was fault at their end, customer service worked at EE regardless of buying from third party company. Contract seems to be with EE according to my bills. There is a cool of period so you should be able to swap to clear £20.99 a month option. Go via topcashback for your 'cash back' then order correct deal and don't forget code VC15OFF also the code 2NDPHONE might give extra £10 off.
