Looks interesting, love my anker one but the battery life is disappointing.

Whilst awaiting the Anker to come back down in price as a friend had one and I was blown away by the sound , I made the mistake of buying the same model Victsing Punker and was satisfied until I took it to his house to compare side by side . The difference is vastly noticeable in that the Anker has more muscle . Luckily the Anker had come back down in price and was able to bag one and give the Victsing Punker to my daughter who is les discerning than me .

Why's it always only the black colour on offer waiting for white
shifty277 to bettz1
15 Apr 171#23
Maybe the black is the by far the better seller so they manufacture quite a lot more units and in return get a better price from the factory?
Agreed though in the last couple of months this speaker has been on offer but never the white version :disappointed:

same here, I'm waiting for the white one to be nearer the £30 mark. Its just under £40 now, was £45 last week so at least its come down a bit but never seems to be as cheap as the black one!

This thing must be made with alien technology, it sounds utterly incredible for it's size. Amazing bargain for £32.

We have both, there is a slight difference but most don't notice it, very good quality sound and everyone says they wouldn't pay the difference for the Bose or higher brands. Get one you can always send it back with ankers excellent warranty.
Op It is often at this price been on here at least 3 or 4 times since Christmas.

How does this compare to the Bose Soundlink mini? Is it worth spending the extra £100? Genuine question

I have the mini bose and bought the anker for my student daughter to take to Uni, its not quite as good as the bose but its an excellent speaker, if you can afford the bose then get it as it is a better sound / deeper base. However if your budget does not stretch to the bose you wont be disappointed, take no notice of the negative comments, as I say I have heard both .

We have very limited space under our TV, which is wall mounted. The sound out of our (top-of-the-range) LG Smart TV speakers is absolutely atrocious, the dimensions of this fit perfectly below the TV but wondering if there would be any significant improvement?

He may well not be, never take Camel graphs as gospel, they're only good for showing trends in pricing. They don't usually show lightening deals and, more importantly, take no account of promotions which Anker are doing all the time.

This is usually 38.99, occasionally comes on deal for 33.99 but have seen at 31.99 for the first time and I think its a good buy.

Sound quality vs price, this thing is absolutely insane.
Partner was complaining that I bought another useless gadget until she actually heard the sound. Amazed.

Been contemplating getting this. I've got the mini version which is excellent. I'll use this one for the kitchen. My little busy son loves music so that's my excuse to the Mrs sorted
Got this today. Not impressed. Compared to the JBL Flip 2 (which is 12W and has NFC) the sound is not as rich, powerful or bassy. Quite harsh sounding yet lacking in treble. Bass is on the weak side yet distorts at higher volumes. The shiny black plastic on top looks cheap and the silver Anker logo on the front of the black grill looks tacky. It's going back.

We found it sounds different depending on the input device.
The Moto Z sounds amazing at all volume levels, where as the LG G4 sounds average with the same sound files.
For £30.... It's a great buy.

Bought my daughter one yesterday for her birthday. After tweaking the EQ ( 4khz + 2.5db. 9khz + 6db 18khz + 2.5db) I'm more than impressed with the sound quality given the price and size. I have Quad, Musical Fidelity, Arcam and Creek separates and have a decent ear. It's decent hardware after a few tweaks...... I even ordered one for myself and I'm listening to it now....

A fairly decent sound can be achieved with a lot of mucking about with EQs. It just feels like a downgrade from my Flip 2. I was hoping for more from this speaker.
