Not sure if a national or local deal. Got a bottle of Angostura Bitters for a fiver last night in Derry Waterside Tesco. I have been looking for some for a while to make cocktails. Old fashioned. Whiskey Sours. Manhattan. Apparently a bottle will last ages as you only use a few drops per drink.
Nice deal as it's usually about £10.
Good buy for anyone setting up a home bar.

I was amazed how expensive this was last time I bought a bottle .... Even more amazed that when I went to put it in the drinks cabinet, there was already one there! Yes, it lasts so long you forget you have it.
Great price. Nice on vanilla ice cream too.

Also great splashed into lemonade or tonic water if you're unfortunate enough to be the designated driver. I like the suggestion of adding to ice cream - I'll have to try that.

True, but you only need homeopathic quantities - five or six drops is enough to flavour a pint of tonic or lemonade.
