Wanted somewhere to collate all the Vinyl bargain offers that are currently available on Amazon. (prices quoted are for Prime delivery).
So here are a selection of the best Amazon currently has to offer in the sub £12 mark...
I will try to keep this up to date, so let me know of any that are no longer valid, or ones I should add I've missed!
That's a good price, I presume a square metre - need a new kitchen floor

Same here. Wasn't looking but couldn't resist. Got the original LP from the first week of release, all these years ago in '77. Wonder how they'll compare? Of course, got various CD, and digital versions since. And yet another load as its included in the AutoRip facility, so will do for the phone. Great for a tenner.

Nice one! We should keep this going, there's all sort of Amazon vinyl bargains that turn up and are gone the following day.
All mine (several hundred) are from the car boot! There's people throwing these things away!! The standard price is a quid each!

I too have hundreds of vinyl LPs bought from car boots for 50p/£1 but I think you would be searching for a long long time trying to find some of the titles in that list

Yeah unfortunately that's not the case anymore. I've had loads from car bootys and charity shops but these days people are wise, they know theres value in them again, so the days of the bargain vinyl are (temporarily) over. The hip kids will move on at some point!
Around a tenner for a new record is good value, as much as it shouldn't be.

Agree. I was searching through my email the other day and found an old eBay invoice for a box of over 250 1960's and 1970's albums that I bought back in 2006 - all of them were almost as good as new, barely played, lovely condition; loads of Zeppelin, Moody Blues, Bowie, Beatles, Stones etc. - and I paid £70 for the box - and that wasn't out of the ordinary.
I can't imagine what a similar lot would go for nowadays.
I used to trawl charity shops and car boot sales to get my cheap vinyl fix back in the day but those days are gone - now a tenner for a new record gets me excited.
Don't even get me started on the 700 unwanted / collection doubles LP's I donated to a charity shop back in the early 2000's. The saving grace was it was just that - to charity.

Its quite rare to get a new release on vinyl for circa £10, they tend to be between £16 - £25.
I collect vinyl,I have a lot of old stuff but my strategy is to try and pick up a new release every month and when I do so to try to get a limited or signed edition version. Ok it costs a bit more, but I've got some fantastic additions to my collection that will hopefully boost its value in the long term as well.

I myself do much the same, as limited (especially signed) vinyl retain value very well. Great places to pick up signed vinyl for those not in the know are recordstore.co.uk, banquetrecords (they do loads of in-stores and put extra signed stock online), and resident (similar with banquet).

I actually find recordstore.co.uk only really stock signed vinyl by artists I've never heard of, indie bands no one cares about. I find the best places for signed vinyl is the artists own website!
