I want to buy something but don't really need anything. Still I don't think I'll let a little thing like that stop me.

I know there's quite a few that have been very lucky and saved a decent amount using the Amazon "Warehouse" but personally everything I have bought has turned out to be a faulty customer return that Amazon has made zero effort to check before attempting to resell. While a refund is easily obtained without issue I've grown tired of wasted evenings trying to get something working and lunch breaks stood in post office queue's to return them.
Was after a Karcher steam cleaner that was included in the offer but they hiked the price by £20. They've now reduced the price back again and hey presto, it's no longer included in the offer! Chancers!

I'm looking at monitors. What warranty is available from Amazon Warehouse?
aanderton to stec77
3 Apr 17#34
Usually 6 months or 1 year depending on the product if electric. If you message them on live chat and ask they'll tell you exactly how long the warranty is for.

All amazon warehouse products come with 1 year warranty.
I had a monitor sometime back from the warehouse and it was nearly brand new :-)

I got a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi HD USB Audio System with Phono Preamp in 2015 it was in almost as new condition just the box had been opened, managed to register it as new too. Paid £49 from Amazon warehouse and its currently £84 new so it was a great bargain.
Mind you I don't very often shop from Amazon warehouse but I do think there is the occasional deal to be had.
Its a pity they decided to restrict what can be bought though, heated

I still buy things from Warehouse. Mostly the items I receive are better than expected - though, of course, you get some items that are worse.
Avoid in-ear headphones - either I've been unlucky but I've bought three pairs so far - covered in ear wax! One was Used - Like New (riiiight).
Most recently I got a cheapo gyrocopter Used - Like New and it was fine - except someone had been mashing the remote keys and they were stuck in the remote - rendering it unusable.
Bought a few watches over recent weeks "with scratches" and all have been perfect (though I do have one sitting here that arrived DOA - just going to try a new Renata watch battery in it). ...ha, no it still doesn't work.
Edit: I'm a bit cursed today. Got this Mophie MicroUSB lead and it's faulty - the USB end is all out of shape. Hard to tell if it's a quality control error or a customer has broken it and sent it back! http://pasteboard.co/ReGY3FH7S.jpg

Interesting. My only purchase from them was an Asus Chromebook for £91, which was about half price. It was trouble-free for a while, but the motherboard soon needed replacing, and I strongly suspect this issue was a known issue. Asus replaced the part, though, and it's been great since. The unit looked like new when I got it and I'm happy with my bargain. But you may well be right with your assessment.

Aye, that mirrors my recent experience. Twice ordering a pair of bluetooth headphones that were broken which left me wondering whether the only testing they did was superficial. Have had some decent stuff in the past but now it's typically too small a saving to warrant the potential risk/hassle.
They used to regularly do 20% off everything in warehouse deals which was much better and without seemingly jacking up the prices beforehand.

Yep, cold from me too, spotted one decent deal in there, but mainly just overpriced stuff you can buy elsewhere for the price after the discount anyway. Also worth noting that one thing I looked at last week and was around £80 has suddenly gone up to £103.....

Items in the warehouse i have been watching have gone up in price by 20-40% over the last 10 days

Although Amazon customer support is excellent, their website has devolved over the years into a mess... multiple listings for the same products, open box prices that sometimes are higher than the RRP. Not to mention marketplace sellers that seem to be attempting to scam at every opportunity.
Trying to wade through the items on this offer feels like sifting through a table at a car boot sale. Except with daft prices in most cases.

Sorry, my bad. I didn't want to say that there is nothing in the computer parts section. Wanted to say there is nothing Worth Buying or interesting included in the promotion. Only a hand of graphics card, 1 CPU, things like that.
