Shame the avocados seem to be those under ripe pallid green ones that never seem to ripen, at least in the 2 stores I have been in.
Tried the brown paper bag "hack" which did nothing or resulted in an appetising blackening on the inside. I guess if I had some grow lamps that would hasten their ripening, but I don't.
Any suggestions to make these edible raw? Thanks

The first Avocados that I purchased from Aldi had maggots in them. My first time trying Avocados and that will be my last! It churns my stomach thinking about them now.
There are onions and there are onions.......What type of onions are these? Spanish, cooking, Red Onions etc etc?

Maybe but that 5 pack of lemons 45p :smiley: and avocados at 45p :smiley: is better than the recent LIDL weekly offers of avocados 59p and lemons 3-4 pack 69p.

Freeze the lemons and you can use them in a G&T instead of ice which waters it down :smiley:
