Is anyone using this with echo dot with Bluetooth?

Mine used to work with my Dot but one day it stopped working and now the Dot can't connect to it. I suspect this might be more to do with the Dot being a bit rubbish as the speaker works fine with everything else.

Did it works with Soundcloud and Google Music what about if I get 2 or 3 speakers if they working simultaneously together?

Yes - get this hooked up to your wifi, and then it connects to Spotify Connect. Nice thing is that it has a decent battery too, so I take it into the garden on a nice day. It normally lives in the kitchen.

Sorry - I had a typo in my post. I meant to say 'can I link two speakers together'?!!

I received mine today and love it. Sounds quality is really good for such a small speaker. Beats the hell out of my old Phillips Filedlio which was £199!
Does anyone know if you can link to Aether speakers together through Spotify connect?

Received mine this week. The build quality is mint. Love it. Easy to set up. Sound is fab. I am thinking of ordering another one.

Can I ask what you feel about the sound quality? Is it too 'bassy' as some reviews have suggested? Do you still get some clear treble and midrange? Does it distort at high volume?

Really impressed! Loud, clear & easy to work!! Perfect for a travel speaker - a little on the heavy side for taking away, but the quality is far better then any portable I have ever seen/used.

Ooops. Thank goodness you were here to read for me.
Well given the above, you may not need the CCA.

Every time this comes up I consider it, but I don't think I'll ever actually buy one. They look really cool. Am I right in thinking they can be directly 'streamed' to in the Spotify app (much like a CCA or an echo or a Sonos)?

Pity no 3.5mm input for connecting a Dot or Chromecast. Wonder what the warranty is too?
That said, at under £40 I'd chance it if I actually had a use for it!

Taking a punt. Have enjoyed using my jbl for a few years. If this offers any improvement on that for £40 I'll be well happy.

I'm sure it's a good product, when it was new it was priced at £300ish but Rdio fell over so you are getting premium hardware for a bargain price no doubt. It was kind of good for them to release an update that opened the system out rather than waste them all. Most of the criticisms with it were to the high entry cost, which is obviously no longer a concern.

Thanks OP. The reviews for this look great. For £40 I'm going to give it a try

As another poster has said, wifi is airplay only. But that's not necessarily an issue, there's plenty of apps on the playstore that allow android devices to work over airplay.

Works Fine , I picked one up about a year ago and still use it on and off. fantastic build quality, great battery life but way to bass heavy imo. Decent sound out of it but nothing special. It's worth it at that price.

I bought this a year ago and it's been just awesome. I use it pretty much every day. The sound quality is amazing and it pairs to bluetooth fine. I can get it to work with Spotify connect but never apple airplay. It feels premium.. like it could easily be worth over £100 but of course not the £300 they quote. The massively expensive previous price they quote was because it offered this voice recognition music service that went bust

Bought one at this price for my daughter at Christmas, very impressed for the price, great sound (for the size) and feels like a premium product. Not had any issues with it not working but have only tired with Apple devices.

It was but in essence it's quite stripped down to what it was. Support will be non existent but how much support do you usually need on a BT speaker?

Is there a code for this, what's the £14.92 price about ?

20 Apr 171#13
I suspect that £14.92 is a typo and should be £41.92, as the cheapest delivery charge is £1.95, which when added to the item cost is £41.92. :man:

I bought one for my son for Christmas. Have to say that I am really impressed, sounds as good as my Bose mini and looks more expensive.
Great battery life, solid construction and comes with rubber base to avoid slipping. Even the packaging made it look like a premium product.
