Had been looking for something like this for a while but they all seem to be TN panels at this price.

Acer's website suggests srkain is right and 144hzmonitors.com is wrong about audio. It has neither speakers nor an audio out. Not an issue for some people, but it is for me. I'll be cancelling my order.
I hear alot of tales about Ebuyer being crappy but I'm with the other guy, I've bought stuff from them for years without an issue.

Can you see it while your using it or you ran a test on it?
Mine looks good. You could try to ask for a replacement.

I've just set mine up and tbh I'm not that impressed. With my blue background, you can visibly see the pixels and the top edge of the screen has a shimmering effect if you look closely.....Just me?

I got mine today and it has a very visible shimmer effect along the top and the whole screen looks like it is suffering from analogue noise (like back in the day with a dodgy VGA cable on a CRT monitor). I have 3 other older ACER monitors (including a VGA only one) and none of them have a display that shimmers like this one. Have started returns process for a full refund.

surprisingly it doesn't.

I received mine today, I've had a pretty good experience with it so far, the colour is so much better than my older TN panel, the only issue I have had with the monitor is that there is a little backlight bleed in one of the corners.
I'd like to know why Acer thought it was a good idea to include both a US and UK power cable and only a VGA cable which we really shouldn't be using in 2017, they should get rid of the US power cable which is never going to be used... and switch the VGA cable for DVI/HDMI one, it saves them money and saves the end user from having to use an inferior cable on an IPS monitor.
Luckily I had a spare DVI cable lying around so that VGA cable is going back into the box forever, along with the US power cable, also the monitor does not have speakers sadly for anybody that was wondering.

I can only say that this is a huge improvement on my old monitor, a Dell E2211H 21". Colours, definition, viewing angles, all show great improvement (they sit side by side now, utilising the multi display Windows 10 system).
BTW, the latter took some doing until I realised that the display settings 1-2 arrangement had to reflect the physical one. As my old screen was to the left of the Acer, I had to drag the display setting to become 2-1. Bingo, the cursor flows easily from one to the other, as do Apps from screen 1 to screen 2 and back again! An unexpected bonus to this deal.
Is there any back-light bleed for you? I heard some of the cheaper IPS's have insane light bleeding when there's a dark scene.

Nice deal. Ordered two yesterday. Unfortunately I went for the free 5 day delivery option so will have to wait a while for them to arrive but if the no speaker rumors are true then they will be going back.

certainly suggests that there's a 3.5mm audio in which would at least suggest there's a speaker in there somewhere but it looks like the manual covers a couple of models so I'll have to wait and see.

I've got an acer monitor, about 23.5" diagonal.
It's a really nice monitor. The best I have ever had.
BUT, and this is my only gripe, the power supply cable to the monitor developed a fault in that the wires that went from the transformer to the monitor were bare wires for a couple of mm where they left the transformer. I put this down to the plastic 'flexi' outlet to the transformer block being too hard.
So, I sent it back to Acer as it was under warranty. But they didn't want to know. Just posted it back to me.
When this monitor finally fails I shall not buy another Acer. A shame because it is genuinely a lovely monitor, but I feel very unhappy with their customer service.

5 Apr 17#41
That's a TN panel rather than IPS. Will have a lower ms response time but the display viewing angles are greatly reduced compared to an IPS. TN panels tend to be cheaper

Steelman111 to moppalady
4 Apr 171#29
If you're using VGA that'd probably explain it, VGA is awful and the signal can get affected easily, if you're getting flickering on DVI though then it might be faulty.
