I understand the Poundland way of thinking.
But my local Bargain Buys has shut down to have a refit. It's going to reopen as a Poundworld Plus, so at least they're getting it right.

Bargain Buys is part of Poundworld, which, in turn is not associated with Poundland. Abroad, Poundland is seen as Dealz which, like here, sells items above the equivalent of £1.

Actually I inow they are different companies. Most people don't.
When the 3rd Poundland which was an 99p convert shut in my town, people were saying is was giing to open as a Poundworld. Why would they do that when Home Bargins/Poundworld is 2 doors up from the now closed Poundland.

I used to have a laugh asking people in poundworld/land how much an item is... Looks like the joke has gone :disappointed:
