Perfect for those moments where in between cleaning spaghetti bolognese from the carpet, taking them kicking and screaming to nursery, chasing them around the supermarket, fishing them out of the river, arguing about going to bed, and making us feel bad about moaning by looking very very cute, our kids and their friends also decide to surprise us with birthdays.
They're standard size cards, they don't have glitter, they don't play amusing songs when you open them and they don't come with a badge. But they ARE made out of card and some of them look cute. And you get SEVEN for a quid. Incredible. Card Factory, I salute you.
(Note, I grabbed mine at the Portsmouth store, but presume it will be nationwide).
The white toblerones in Poundland are still the right shape. Downside is they're probably five years old as no-one likes them

These are pretty basic cards as you say but they are a pretty good deal and great for emergency situations!

As kdk says, it used to be 10 for £1. Certainly not inflation busting!

If you do a search, you'll see the same offer (7 for a quid) was also on 7 years ago. That's what i was referring to

Im no eco warrior but in this day and age why the hell does anyone do cards anymore?
Not only is it the slaughter of our Woody friends but they are dull, bland and never, ever say what you want them to.
Buying them is overwhelming disappointing and receiving them is underwhelmingly disappointing (if you get my gist).
Its about time there was a card tax so everyone avoided it by issuing a firm handshake or a distinct nod of appreciation.

This bit is particularly true if you have a strained and troubled relationship with a relative – all the poems/greetings in the cards are so gushing and OTT that they just come across as sarcastic.

It costs more now to send a card in the post than the actual card itself :disappointed:

Heat added. They do have terrific deals on their cards. I never post mine as a lot of the cards I've posted over the years never arrive or when they have they've been opened  I take them when I'm visiting if anything. If someone's too far away I give them a call and meet up.

This is a great offer and the cards are quite cute. I love sending cards it keeps you in touch without social media. I get a lot of mine at the local market and they even have Clinton cards at about a quarter of the price!

Inflation busting? What price would they be if inflation were not busted?
