To find out what oil you need, text 'OIL' and your vehicle registration number to 87103 and we will reply with the engine oil recommendation. A nominal charge of 25p plus your standard network charge will apply. Alternatively quite easy to go onto Castrol , europarts, Halfords web site and find out for free the grade you require

Not compulsory to use that service, but if your unsure about the oil you want 25p text charge is a small price to pay for to ensure you buy the correct oil, Alternatively quite easy to go onto Castrol , europarts, Halfords web site and find out for free the grade you require . Entirely your choice and entirely optional

TBF the charge is only for those who don't know what oil they want/need to use, all the specs are in the description. Price is good imho.

Anyone know who makes this for Asda? I assume they don't have their own refinery. Shame they don't do a 5W50.

Thanks for the heads-up, just as my oil light came on.
BTW, the Vauxhall variety meets BMW LL04 (better than LL01 in case you were wondering), the others don't mention meeting any BMW LL ratings.
