I ordered a big burger at the Nosy Parker flaming grill pub in Lincoln a couple of years ago. It turned up, I ate it easily, and only then realized it had been a challenge meal!

When I was a trainee manger years and years ago , we did a 32 oz rump steak and idiots used to ask for them blue and rare they were over a inch thick. Just two would take the heat out of the grill fo over a hour. With no lunch most men could do 24 , T-bones are 12-14 oz great price though OP voted hot

The quality really varies depending on location I've had rubbish meals too as i've only been in at lunch times i always have the same two things from their £4.99 lunch deal tried one place it just did pathetic sized portions with no choice of side you had to put up with what you were given. one i've been to multiple times once sent out dessert no one had bothered to defrost before serving, that said it's not all bad on my last visit i got a dessert upgrade when they'd run out of the one in the lunch deal

Was at one last night. Can confirm no discounts yesterday or Monday but (after a little discussion) waitress relented into admitting it could be used today and tmrw.
My mate had the steak challenge. Actually wasn't that bad, as stated above the size of the sides made it more manageable. I split the Chicken challenge with someone else. The bread is a killer if your serious about completing the challenge. It's a full brioche loaf!
Worth noting that on a Friday (yesterday included) you got a free pint of beer with any steak purchase! So my bud got the 24oz challenge AND a pint of John Smith's for £12.79!

Do you think the hardest one to do is the chicken? I reckon that or the burger. I could do the hot one spinning on my 'man-pencil' so it seems like the most boring. And it comes with rice and chips - it's more a Welsh meal than anything else.
What annoys me about that Mother Clucker deal is that it's got nothing that people that really love chicken in it. Thighs, wings, bones and a lovely plate of parson's noses, that's what you want. Breast is the apple stump of a chicken..

I dunno, but I find it slightly off putting that a steak that large can be that cheap. Gotta wonder about the quality and whether you are eating beef or the loser from the 3.15 at Haydock.

The chicken one was hard going but only because of the bread. Once all the meat is gone you're left with a stodgy lump to deal with. The steak one looked more manageable, it didn't look as MASSIVE as i expected.
Agree it isn't a real chicken feast but for a cheesy-bbq-chicken-fest you can't really go wrong.
