Never had an issue with the site and used it multiple times, using both a debit card with a debit card (via PayPal, verified by Visa enabled card) and a credit card from said bank, all the while using my Derbyshire address as the 'ship to' address. I've also used laptops, iPads and iPhones to make these orders from both Sky fibre and the o2 network. Just trying to emphasise the point here that all this VPN talk is nonsense, for some reason somewhere their anti fraud measures are blocking your purchases.

posted before, my Son tried numerous times . they came back saying stop making numerous accounts your they will ban me , I have a ps4 and so does my son , jokers , can understand people trying to rip them buying more than one but come on some people are genuine/honest , not a lot of money in this instance but their loss

Those aren't credit checks. Those are fraud prevention measures. It is to prevent people from buying up their entire inventory with phony credit cards.

Let's put this into perspective, the US PS site do often have some cracking flash type deals (maybe every 2 to 3 weeks) and if you can get one or two of these PSN $10 deals at 30% off paying in the region of £5.50 to £5.85 per voucher it does I agree make these flash type deals even more worthwhile.

But, I do think people on here are getting themselves completely bent out of shape for the sake of saving £2 to £3. If you really need to get so worked up over a small saving I'd suggest giving your head a wobble and reflect on what's important in life.

You might be on to something there. If you look at previous orders, it also shows credit limits for daily and monthly spending

Crazy isn't it! I thought they might have limited numbers, they sold out pretty quickly last time. But doesn't appear to be the case this time.

I had an account and have bought from them before. But for that particular deal it didn't give me the PayPal option. Seems a bit weird, but I still went for it.

sorry may have already been asked, but why not have both accounts? sometimes theres a difference in price between canada and US.

My son has tried 3 times with card, 1st time failed due to phone verification, 2nd time they said HE was using a VPN, 3rd time failed using card on mobile site, and they said it got cancelled due to security reasons, and to try in 24hrs, joke

Not really, there was a PSN flash sale at the weekend, but that's over. That had some good deals. Would have been even better with credit at this price.

I finally got it to work using my First Direct credit card, it didn't accept my MBNA one for some reason. Couldn't click on PayPal despite registering first. Any good deals on the US PSN store at the moment?

The mobile site is weird for me using safari and chrome on my iPhone, the PayPal option is there normally but it's just an image and doesn't actually do anything when clicked!

Ordered one at 11.30 last night in mobile but had to use credit card. Got an email straight away saying that it was pending and could take up to an hour to approve. Got the code early this morning

Just a note if you want to close your account. I spoke to their CS after I completed my transaction ($10 code arrived fine by the way, within seconds of placing the order) to close my account and this is the response I got:


I asked for clarification (e.g.: are they banning IP ranges and if so/if not, what data do they collect in order to facilitate a watertight ban seeing as you cannot sensibly employ a domain ban of Gmail, Outlook etc accounts) again and was not given a reply. I can understand having measures in place for fraud prevention, but regardless the company response is a bit 'off' and not something I'm in to condoning so I said close the account anyway, I got my deal out of them.

Bought using chrome browser on my phone with PayPal but needed to request desktop site for PayPal option to be shown.

I tried to setup a second account in the hope of getting a second code, used my wife's card and phone number and also used a VPN and order got cancelled.

don't know if this helps anybody but if you add mobile. to the start of the web address you can use paypal on any desktop browser

bought without any issues, code delivered straightaway. Used Chrome desktop and paid with Mastercard CC.

That website is f**king infuriating.

A shame it's only one per account, do these guys hate money or something?! Would love to top up around $30-40 on my account as their sales are almost always better than here in the UK. It's also a little annoying that this price came up after the flash sale ended. They would have made a killing selling these to people who were after Uncharted or TLOU.
