They were only £1.50 in store and online when Tesco started getting rid of home brew section but sold out fast! Prices kept going down and down until they were selling 30bottle of wine kits for 55p!! Guess they are done with home brew as they want you to buy their own wine and beer.

This price therefore isn't all that great and probably only had a couple left they found lying around as they have been sold out for weeks and were £1.50 online at one point so a bit cheeky to be upping the price of clearance end of line items.

If it's worth making, it's worth making five gallons at a time. I have dozens of these and to be honest, you loose too much when you rack to make them any use for anything other than trial recipes and bulk storage of finished wine.

looks like its been discontinued i think they have stopped stocking home brew products. i bought one last week for £6.99 at the range so look in there if you have one nearby
