Why not put your money where your mouth is and support the series?
I got it day one and it's some of the most pleasing gaming time I've ever spent playing.
finally starting to drop below £40,. i love the series but refuse to pay 40 for a game.

If you love the series why not drop the £40 and show Sega that it's worth continuing to localise it? Also there isn't a game in the world you'd pay £40 for? That's a bit of a hardline approach isn't it?

Doubt this will drop much, seems to be having supply issues.
On a side note, it's worth 40 quid, my first play through was around 50 hours.
Probably only touched 40% of the game?
Looking to complete it until Persona comes out. This took time away from horizon!

Thanks, never played a Yakuza game and my impression of it being on the short side was holding me back
There are so many things to do, just yesterday I was playing outrun fir an hour to beat some girl's top score and take over an area lol

heat added, can't see this dropping below £30 and have a feeling it will turn out to be hard to get a hold of later.

The game will tell you what percentage you've completed. I believe you can complete the main story and still only have about 15% completion.

Was playing this to death till I got Switch and Zelda. Awesome game. Will be returning to Kamorocho soon though as its a simply amazing game and criminally underrated series in the west.

I know this is a prequel so assume a good place to start for series newbies?

It will set up the characters and the whole story arc of the series perfectly especially if you know where it leads to, but even on its own merits it's a cracking game all round and introduces you to everything you'll love or possibly hate about the series.

Hot. I was going to wait until it dropped a little more, but I've been whining about them bringing Yakuza games to the West for a while now so it feels wrong holding off any longer.
Now localise Ishin please.

never played a Yakuza game before this, but I love this game, it's so much fun - highly recommended!

It's one of the very few games that is worth full price for it's excellent storyline, funny side stories and for it's mini games. I've managed to get over 80 hours out of it. I'm excited for Yakuza Kiwami in the Summer then Yakuza 6 next year.

Best game. Buy it as soon as it hits a price you'd be happy to pay for one of the best games in a long, long time.

Glad to finally see the Yakuza series getting the recognition it deserves. It's the spiritual successor to Shemnue!

I got this game if you don't like reading a lot of text I wouldn't recommend it other than that good game

This is NOT a short game, it took me 90 hours to beat it. Granted I goofed around so much but this game is definitely worth it. Later this year I WILL replay it again on the unlocked Legend mode for sure
I played gems such as Nioh and Horizon but this game is even better than them. For me it's the best game on the ps4

Great game, i've put 95 hours in so far and still have lots to do. Agree it's the best game on PS4 and with the Yakuza 1 remake coming later this year and then Yakuza 6 on a new improved game engine early next year it's a great time to get into the series. I just hope missing 2-5 isn't too much of an issue when 6 comes out?

Niche title. Won't have anywhere near as many copies floating around as your standard AAA and a price drop isn't going to get hordes of people buying it. You'll either want it or you won't.

I think you might be right in terms of physical copies but playstation have been known to put niche titles on sale before so digitally i think it might drop to under £30 but not for a while at least.

With the amount of games I have I can wait.

For the physical copies i'd definitely agree. Previous instalments of Yakuza have dropped in price within weeks of coming out, this one however has just became harder to get. I have a feeling they have produced as many western copies this time.
