Here is another flash sale for these triple driver earphones. I bought mine from a previous flash sale and they have great sound quality and a triple driver earphone at this price is unheard of.

Edit*

Thanks to M_z you have to add to cart then the item is reduced.

I've had these headphones for nearly two months now; bought from gearbest for ~ £21.

They're really high quality and excellent headphones in my opinion; worth £100+ easy!

The only thing to be aware of is that these headphones have high impedance which basically gives you a wide sound filed (good thing) but it also comes with resistance. This means that they'll be slightly quiter than other headphones when played at the same volume. Not a big deal to be honest but worth mentioning.

I use them for at least 3-4 hours every day, during my commute with a OnePlus2 phone, Toshiba tablet and also with my laptop at work; couldn't be happier; well done Xiaomi - best headphones in the market under £100.

they are a decent brand of themselves if you mean beats or shure equivalents then try this forum.

they are called the pro HD confusingly they are also marketed as the PRO as well, either way this is the triple driver that is being referenced.

I bought a very similar pair Xiaomi earphones a few months ago from the same site. Took a while to get here from China as they came from China (maybe 3-4 weeks?) so don't order if you want them in a hurry!

The ones I ordered have dual drivers and a built in mic. Sound quality is great and the mic works well with my PS4 controller and hands-free on my phone.

Couldn't resist these, have a pair of Musical Fidelity ones which sound brilliant, but they lack the control buttons and I find I am missing ability to skip tracks without getting my phone out my pocket. I also have a pair of Xiaomi Pistons which are OK. Actually this will be my 4th pair bought via Hotukdeals.
I am glad these have gone hot now, as they seem a great deal for anyone not in a hurry for delivery.

I've taken the plunge after buying a set of cheapo beats in ear headphones every year or so for EBay (the ones that used to be packed with HTC phones) as the build quality on beats headphones is poor. Well, that and also trying to find non fake versions online is now a lottery. So have some heat!

17 Mar 17 1 #31
Have to say I was underwhelmed with these after all the hype. They sound OK, not great. Same kind of league as the soundmagic e10's.

They'll be a great upgrade if you're only ever using the cheapo sets that come with your phone, but not if you're used to something with a bit more oomph. Granted, that means comparing them to sets 4 or 5 times the price - the problem is that the reviews make you think you can.

Mine have gone in a drawer as my backup's backup.

I bought the Original Xiaomi Mi IV Hybrid Dual Drivers Earphones in January thanks to Hotuk.

The sound is incredible, infinitely better than any other in ear headphones I've ever used. However, they're also the most uncomfortable headphones I've ever used. I also find that they're not very good at sound insulation.

How do the Xiaomi triple drivers compare for sound and comfort?

I've tried loads of headphones in the past and they all eventually come loose or slip out my ear. I don't want to buy over the head type but I must have irregular ears I'm sure. Used all sizes of bud and even the sports around the ear don't really stay snug. I think the only solution is to have a screw thread and use a spanner :-)

Anyway do you know of a design I don't - not an expert and only casual user.

I can only suggest trying different tips until you find one that fits. Unless you've got unique ears, I'm sure there will be something out there!

Try putting earphones in then feeding cable forward then over ear and down the back of ear. You can tug cable and it won't pull buds out. Joggers tape to back of ears sometimes but I find that's not needed. That's one way. The other is to track down universal Earphone Grips. Various sorts that clip on your own buds and fit either in or over the ear. Like this.. Better pic than gearbest effort. Same though https://m.aliexpress.com/s/item/32478027934.html?trace=storeDetail2msiteDetail

Try something like the monster victory - the buds are mounted on an axis that allows it to move and adapt to your ear canal, and the body of the earphone itself has what can only be described as a 'hook' that anchors it all in your ear.

Very comfy, never fall out (I use them in the gym) and sound quality is relatively good. Better than the Xiaomis

have you had a try with aptx over Bluetooth. make sure transmitter and Bluetooth headset/ clip has it and you'll be surprised.
I refuse anything without aptx now, it's a deal breaker. also with the clip Bluetooth receivers, you can use headsets like these, not sure if mic headsets will work or just headphones/earphones.

Personally, the Pro's fit better than the 4's. The 4's used to slip out easily with a decent cable tug or a bit too much head movement. These I have found to be more reliable outside the house

18 Mar 17 #69
One thing that always hits me with in-ear headphones is that my head starts to feel like an echo chamber. Tapping the wire often caused a dull thud to travel up through them as well - is this because I've been using cheap earbuds, or is that just a thing when using them?

I highly recommend trying out memory foam earbuds with these, haven't looked back since!

This triple driver HD thing is tripping me up.

Pro = dual driver
Pro HD = triple (dual+balanced armature)

Aliexpress,
Pro = dual driver
Pro HD = triple

Gearbest,
Pro = triple

So Gearbest have simply got the model number wrong? This makes the most sense since the listing refers to 3 drivers everywhere else. The video also shows the Pro HD.

This.

I'm also asking if anyone has both dual and triple drivers, and how they compare for audio quality and comfort.
chrisjordan666
19 Mar 17 1 #79
From my ears the audio differences are the triple has less bass, better imaging, more detail, larger soundstage and is slightly harder to drive.
Comfort is different for everyone but for me the comfort is similar to the normal dual hybrid, the casing is larger and is still a narrow insertion. You can wear these cable up if you swap them around and support the T200 comply tips.

if by international rom you mean you have the redmi note 3 special edition version of the phone with band 20 support then you should not be on rom 8.2.1.0 MHOCNDL this is for the china version of rn3 the current version for the special edition with band 20 should be 8.1.3.0 MHRMIDI here is a link to the current roms for all 3 versions of the RN3 phones global ,china, and special edition link http://en.miui.com/download-301.html#449 if what i am saying that you do have the band 20 supported version of this phone and you did update to 8.2.1.0 then thats why it wiped your phone because its the wrong rom for that band 20 model

I've got loads of Xiaomi earphones including the Hybrids. They're "okay" - better than the cheap £10-£15 tatt you find in UK supermarkets etc but I wouldn't say they're great sounding earphones. Okay, not more than that. Build quality is exceptional though. Definitely built to last without the cables (kevlar braid) splitting.

If you want budget, have a look at the recommendations in the link below. He tends to overrate things a bit as his reference is the budget market but it's another option.

I bought the Rock Zircon he recommended. Similar to the Xiaomi Hybrids. They're okay. Can't really complain for £12 or so.

Got mine today too. As you say, great packaging and they look good but i have to say I'm not overwhelmed by the sound quality. It's not bad but they sound very light on bass compared to my SoundMAGIC E10s from Amazon (and I'm not a bass freak). Maybe it's because I am used to the E10's or maybe they need to be used a bit but preferring the E10s so far. Top and mid ranges are great. Will see how they go with more use.
