I got the Day 1 version of this but I think it's ridiculous that the Japanese voice pack was exclusive to the Day 1 Edition.
Wish they'd do the same as FFXV and release all the day 1 stuff for purchase on the store. My SO missed out on the Day 1 at the price I got it and it would be great if I could pick her up a copy at a reasonable price and know that I could just grab the items on the store for her later.

I'm going to hate myself skipping it at this price but I've just bought ff15, uncharted collection today.

Actually got a smyths deal at my local for once, i've wanted this since the demo was first released. A good traditional turn based jrpg to play at last.

Would my 6 year old be able to play this or would it likely be too complicated?

If it helps, the Fareham branch has today received a fresh batch of new copies scanning at £15 (the pre-owned version is scanning at £28.99). There aren't any display units (for a new copy) out on the shelf so ask the guy at the counter and he'll be able to sort you out.

Why do people crave or Jap Voice packs?
To see the lips in sync or some sort of nostalgia?

Just got notified of your response so to answer your question, for me it's neither of your possible reasons. Instead it's simply the same reason as I don't watch dubbed foreign film/TV unless there's no other option, I would rather experience something in its original language first.
On some things on a second watch/playthrough I would watch/play with an English dub but only if it's been said to be excellent. The only example immediately springing to mind being Cowboy Bepop where the director apparently said he preferred the dub.

Unless you knew Japanese, you wouldn't know what the story was!?
But I respect your opinion and thanks for replying , as I never considered it an option at first thought :0)

Haha, I'm not scared of some subtitles! :stuck_out_tongue: Hell, my favourite TV series/film ever (originally it was a four part mini-series but got changed to two films when released in America) is an Italian one call The Best of Youth which in its entirety is six hours worth of subs.
I watch films and TV from all over the place, without subs I'd need to know dozens of languages and most of my film collection would just be interesting coasters.
I'm glad I got my point across though, it's really hard to explain sometimes that you like hearing the original language without sounding like a pretentious moron.
