I seem to have quite a few within reasonable distance (which probably indicates that my "local" ones might all be owned by one franchisee). The store fittings remind me of the 1980s, but I suspect that is one of the attractions based on the customers I see in there (and yes, its somewhere I go if I want a sugar rush!)

stayed in a hotel last week in Sheffield/Rotherham for work and next door there was a very dated bowling alley and wimpy bar, had a look in but as I was on expenses I decided to spend a bit more elsewhere plus the wimpy looked well past it :disappointed:

Nearest Wimpy to me is 25 miles away did try it last time I was that way but very disappointed not at all like I remembered in the old days.
