The Swift 2 Plus and Swift 2 X are also part of this same Amazon product. I hate it when they do that as it messes up the reviews (different model phones lumped in to one set of reviews).

Returned mine this morning. Bought this and the Lenovo P2, trying to decide which one to keep.
P2 felt better holding in hand, and it performs a little faster in every aspect (opening apps, loading webpages, running benchmarks, etc) but I don't think it worth twice as much (100 vs 200).
Battery life on the Swift is rather inconsistent. Sometimes it uses less than 10% overnight, but sometimes I wake up with a flat battery even though it had 30% when I went to bed.
The main deciding factor was - I realised I can't return the P2 because I bought it in the shop. lol.

Its not brilliant, my phone was at 65% after 12 hours, very little use few texts, emails a couple of calls but the good thing is it charges quickly, for me I'm either at home, at work or in the car most of the time so its not an issue. if your on a 2+ day trek then it aint gonna last

I think it's not the best compared to more expensive phones so if you are a heavy user then it may not be ideal. I was on the phone for a couple of hours today and you could see the drain on the phone and used about a 35% of the battery.

Only complaint on mine is the battery life, seem to be struggling to get a full day out of it, don't use twitter, fb etc, only whats app and email accounts (3 setup) other than that a few calls and texts nothing major. I'll continue to monitor it to see if it improves otherwise for the money its great, got a 128gb U3 card (half the value of the phone....) in mine and its great to be able to use the adoptable storage feature.

I was apprehensive when I got my Swift 2, my GF was getting me a new phone and I gave her a shortlist including this the P9 lite and the G4.
I honestly can't fault this phone, whilst I rarely use it the NFC/android pay is great (for when I leave the wallet in the car). The fingerprint scanner has never given be any problems and with the addition of a 64gb card I have absolutely no storage issues.
The current OS is great. When i do break this one, I'll look at another wileyfox without a doubt.
The one let down is the camera isn't amazing, but it's acceptable.

You must have a faulty handset or some serious battery draining apps... I'm getting 2 full days out of mine and that's with Bluetooth and WiFi on constantly!
I've also found the fingerprint reader to be excellent, registers every time despite which part of the finger I use.
Overall I'm very impressed with this phone, an absolute steal for the price

7 Mar 17#142
I've retrained the fingerprint reader twice already and it still rarely works.
As for the battery, if I wake up in the morning and take both the G4 Play and the Swift 2 off charge, at 100%, by 5pm the Swift 2 is dead while the Moto G4 Play still has >50% battery left.

I have a G4 Play and a WileyFox Swift 2. The latter is going back due to the battery life being dire. Doesn't last half as long as the G4 Play, which works just as well and has NFC, albeit no fingerprint sensor (which is flakey to say the least on the Swift 2).

7 Mar 17#136
Hmm. I have a Moto G4 at the moment and thinking of getting this Swift 2 purely because of the NFC/Payments and fingerprint sensor... am I making a mistake? I want pure Android and there's no date as to when they'll update the Wileyfox handsets.

"In light of the recent news from Cyanogen, every Wileyfox user's experience will remain unchanged - hooray!
This was expected and we are confident with the smooth transition planned in an upcoming over-the-air update for the entire Wileyfox product range that will migrate away from Cyanogen’s refocus strategy, and on to a purer Android experience – enhanced.
We strongly recommend that all current and future users accept the upcoming update request to ensure they are on-board for the future. This will include the ability to maintain the same experience as before and the added ability to partake in updates and upgrades to the software in the future.
We will continue to push this update to your device, and for new users we again recommend they download and install this update upon purchase"

Don't get me started with Microsoft!
Windows 10 is another stinking, steaming pile of dog carp.
So much so, after installing the 'Free' upgrade to Windows 10 on my laptop (which I rarely used at the time), it was only on there a few months until I came to use it one day and realised just how much I hated the flat, monochromatic icon festooned POS!
It was uninstalled shortly afterwards and Windows 7 was re-installed, which IMHO is still the best looking Window OS by far with it's gradients, and easily identifiable desktop icons (started going downhill with Win8/Metro).
All this flaky UI design is probably down to there being too much emphasis on mobile computing an making user interfaces less resource hungry is my guess, which is understandable for mobile devices, but I personally want my main 'proper' workstation UI (PC or Laptop) where I do proper work to be something good to look at which enables me to be more productive and not make me have to spend time hunting all the nooks and crannies of the OS for features that were once easy to locate and identify by means of a unique icon.
Plus the basic looking icons we see so often today don't need much in the way of design by the lazy new breed of latte-sipping, iphone-using snowflake designers. Which must be a smack in the teeth to all those old-school designers who had the skill to create things of beauty.
This modern design which includes those 5h!7 two-colour icons which make everything look too similar which results in more time being wasted looking for stuff, plus it looks so so so boring.
Again, we are in an age where 4K screens are the norm and we are force-fed lacklustre two-colour interfaces. WTF?
Ooooh, I can't wait until we go back to greyscale and then B/W! NOT!

Totally agree chap, this stupid obsession with making things pale and totally crap looking is infuriating.... some utter douchebags in Google (and Microsoft) are competing to make user interfaces worse and worse.
I personally think it's the geeky nerd designers (you know, those stick thin, pale ill looking, drainpipe trouser wearing, awful bum fluff bearded hipsters) that are in control of design, they somehow took over and instilled their outlook on life (pale, dreary, never see the sun)
Well that's what I reckon.
* apologies to all stick thin, pale ill looking, drainpipe trouser wearing, awful bum fluff bearded hipsters that aren't in software design, you're probably wonderful fellows.

Prime now ROCKS!!
Got the phone this evening, some quick observations:
The phone has 13.1.2 and later updated to 13.1.5 (updated twice).
It has screen protector pre-applied, misaligned. I’d prefer if they just include it so I can apply it myself.
The phone setup experience wasn’t great – it had difficulty connecting to Cyanogen OS service (possibly because it is no longer in service? Had to go back and forth a few times to skip it.
Cannot use themes app, it requires Cyanogen OS account which doesn’t work anymore.
The phone takes a micro SIM if you intend to use SD card.
The phone felt kinda slow (compared to Huawei P9, the last Android phone I used)
I tried to format the SD card into internal storage, but it complained about the card’s write speed being too slow (it is a Sandisk Ultra card!!!).
The bootloader unlock seems easy, it doesn’t need unlock code.
Between this and Lenovo P2
- I suspect Swift 2 is more likely to get Nougat update?
- Swift 2 is probably better if you intend to flash custom ROM and don’t want to lose warranty
- 625 chipset on P2 is probably miles better than 430 on Swift 2. P2 has more memory and more storage too.
- P2 supports more LTE bands if you travel frequently.
- the big battery in P2 makes it kinda bulky.
- Cyanogen OS on Swift 2 felt more vanilla, which I like.
I am torn between Swift and P2... mmm....

I bought this just before Christmas at a similar price.... and sent it back after a few weeks. Everyone I tried to speak to using the phone said how quiet I sounded, even though all the settings had been checked. It randomly kept restarting itself too, sometimes in the middle of calls. To top it off, the screen cracked when it slid off a table; I've never ever had a phone screen get damaged so easily. Plus points were the camera and really quick charging, but as I was using it as a business phone the fact it performed so badly for making phone calls made it useless.

You like Nougat?
Personally I hate it and think it is a stinking, steaming pile of dog carp.
Having a Samsung Galaxy S7, I have just updated to 'N' and have to say, what a freakin' disappointment!
I have no idea what it is with Google and why they make each update of Android IMHO more sparse than the one before.
Personally I prefer colour, gradients, demarcation between 'zones' and nice detailed icons. Not the ever-more monochromatic interfaces that we've been receiving the last few updates.
Most of use have handsets costing in excess £500-600 with truly awesome screens like nothing seen before in a hand-held devices and we are forced to look at huge white spaces, big, white interfaces/menus, with single colour icons! WTF?
Maybe its to preserve battery life? If so, that's very lame!
For instance the pull-down the top menu for instance on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge' is white, with light blue basic icons.
Lightbulb moment here! I've got an idea! For the next Android update, make the icons white on a white background and be done with it! We, the users can just use 'The Force' to find what we are looking for.
Is it just me or does anyone else hate predominately white/light interfaces, with light-coloured this and light-coloured that?
It literally hurts my eyes to look at a predominately white interface and when all the icons are the same colour instead on being individual, then I think that takes longer to find what your looking for.
It's like someone with OCD is in charge and wants everything to match! I'm all for continuity, but there's got to be some give when it's informational content on screen.
Oh, and the 'LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ELSE?' found at the bottom of each sub-menu in settings? WTAF? Why can't they just put all the available options there for the user to peruse at will! I'm pretty sure I'll manage to navigate the extra content!
Also, WTF is it recently with the overuse of actual words instead of icons?
Here's an idea, why not use easily identifiable icons in order to de-clutterise the menus instead of over texting the menus?
For instance, in the default email app, if you long-press a message, you are presented with the word 'DELETE' as an available option. Now forgive me if I'm wrong here, but what is the universal symbol for 'DELETE'? A fracking waste bin, that's what!? Everyone in every language is familiar with this, so why change it to the actual word 'DELETE'? Surely, it must be harder to program the OS to use the translated word for 'DELETE' considering the wide range of languages available in Android.
Oh, and 'NOTI. SETTINGS' on the pull-down menu? Ahhhh, this annoys the p!55 out of me! If words have to be used, at least use the full words as it just looks less lazy!
Another step back IMHO is the in-call screen which is so poor, it's criminal!.
Sadly, there wasn't the preferred full screen HD image of the caller contact in previous versions of Android (although, I'm pretty sure it was a loooong time ago), but at least we had the half-screen contact's image on display during a call up until recently.
Now? A stoopid little lo-res circle with a blurry-crap background. Again and update that makes the interface look worse.
I'm pretty sure there is an Apple insider at Google signing off these 'ASAP' (As S**T A Possible) updates in the hope more Android users will defect to Apple. Defection has never crossed my mind in 8 years, but the last two updates ('M' & 'N') are pushing me closer!
I just feel that the interface of last few incarnations of Android has become increasingly clinical to the point the interface is just not nice to look at or as easy to navigate (no colour, no demarcation and no detailed icons).
Maybe by Android 'P' we'll have retrograded to a black & white, icon-free, MS-DOS-like (just text) interface!
Seriously, it as if Google are retrograding Android in order to re-upgrade the interface in the future.
END OF RANT!

This is a good entry phone for anyone looking for a smartphone, which can do most, but is not very expensive. Camera is not fantastic, but ok for most snaps. Battery is a bit on the small side, but charges very, very quickly. It runs either 2 sims or one sim and one SD card. Both sims can be active and from different carriers. Fingerprint reader is really good. Screen is on the dull side, but not bad. Speaker sound is quite decent. There's no gyro, but Pokemon works and installs fine. It's just the AR that's not working.
GPS is a bit jumpy, but ok outdoors and in transport.
We bought it for an 11-year-old who wanted to play pokemon and simple online games. He's super pleased.
The charger is USB-C, so it will not work with normal micro-usb chargers, but there's a cable in the pack.
Edit: forgot to say that it has Gorilla Glass v3, which is a big plus for us.

I got one of these for my son a couple of months ago and spent some time with it as I set it up (it was the swift 2 bundle- includes free screen replacement - for £119). For it's current price I don't think you can beat it. The Snapdragon 435 and 2gb of ram are plenty to keep a very light version of Android running great. The screen is clear enough with approx. 300dpi, it feels nice in the hand and the fingerprint sensor works well. The rear camera won't win any competitions but it is fine for what my son needs it for. Even with only 16gb of storage all you need to do is throw in a 64gb sd card and switch on the adoptable storage and you won't have any issues with running out of space. I would recommend this over the Vodafone Smart ultra 7, Honor 5C, Moto G4 play and normal G4 (which is more expensive).
The only thing to be aware of is that Wileyfox used Cyanogen inc for their software. They are no longer with us so WF are getting "another company" to do the software going forward but we have yet to see the fruits of this. However I am willing to give them some time to get this sorted as this is their latest phone so they need to keep it up to date.

Any alternatives? Apart from that, and it's not the phone's fault, it's great :sunglasses:
P2 felt better holding in hand, and it performs a little faster in every aspect (opening apps, loading webpages, running benchmarks, etc) but I don't think it worth twice as much (100 vs 200).
Battery life on the Swift is rather inconsistent. Sometimes it uses less than 10% overnight, but sometimes I wake up with a flat battery even though it had 30% when I went to bed.
The main deciding factor was - I realised I can't return the P2 because I bought it in the shop. lol.
I've also found the fingerprint reader to be excellent, registers every time despite which part of the finger I use.
Overall I'm very impressed with this phone, an absolute steal for the price
As for the battery, if I wake up in the morning and take both the G4 Play and the Swift 2 off charge, at 100%, by 5pm the Swift 2 is dead while the Moto G4 Play still has >50% battery left.
You may actually like it, so check it out first on Youtube as there will be numerous videos showing how it looks.
NOT!
All the specs are here: https://www.wileyfox.com/swift2
I personally think it's the geeky nerd designers (you know, those stick thin, pale ill looking, drainpipe trouser wearing, awful bum fluff bearded hipsters) that are in control of design, they somehow took over and instilled their outlook on life (pale, dreary, never see the sun)
Well that's what I reckon.
* apologies to all stick thin, pale ill looking, drainpipe trouser wearing, awful bum fluff bearded hipsters that aren't in software design, you're probably wonderful fellows.
I've been keeping half an eye out for something that I won't have to worry about room for apps on and which has a bit more RAM; the E was cracking value for money but struggles at times.
I need to remember it just s a phone
I am torn between Swift and P2... mmm....
You can do both, guides on youtube but not something I would or will attempt.
I got this phone for xmas, I got through phones like a priest goes through...
prayers (get your head out the gutter).
It's with wileyfox at the moment having the screen repaired after being dropped from the top of a telegraph pole.
Shine Lite has MT6737 chip, which has 4 cores up to 1.3GHz
both has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
Just look at the numbers, I think Swift 2 is a better phone?
And I know it's £100 more but I recently brought the Lenovo P2 and can't recommend it enough. Fast and easy to use and an easy 3 day battery life.

Oneplus 3T & Moto Z - couldn't justify the money for a spare/toy phone
Lenovo P2 - a bit too big, and Lenovo brand seems to be pretty bad at keeping up with Android OS upgrades
