7 Piece Set. VDE certified for live line working up to 1000V AC. Handle adapted to drive and size for optimum transfer of force from hand to screw. Supplied with single-pole voltage tester (220-250V).
Wiha screwdrivers are top quality German stuff. Like Wera, Gedore etc. The Germans kept making them rather than switching production to China like the British makes did (thats one main reason why theres so few British makes. Just cheap and nasty China/Taiwan made - or odd one like Draper who have some of their stuff made in Germany

You can get a lot of "similar" sets cheaper, these are good quality tools,I've been using the same set(from CPC) for more than a year now.

I think I would settle for one flat long shaft bladed screwdriver which 'exactly' fitted the screws in (MK of course) mains sockets so you could really tighten them up as much as possible

I can't think of a diy instance where vde is required myself, rather than deliberately working on live wires I use them in case I screwed up somewhere!

Think I will go for these after my Wera set broke

I do agree it's a good size for small terminal screws but you never know what the diy'er is gonna get up too lol.

Has anyone come across any deals on interchangeable blade torque sets?

Got some of their normal softgrips, quite nice drivers. May have to invest but I prefer the compact sets where you swap the blade.

I quite like it. Good size for a lot of DIN terminal blocks and PLCs.
Dont use it as a voltage detector but as a screwdriver its alright.

Those sodding £3.30 multimeters are also death traps. Anyone using them on mains might as well be playing Russian roulette. (Not that I'd avocate these mains screwdrivers either)
