Bought one of these in the clearance direct from Vax about a month ago. Good Vacuum, only thing I don't like about it is the fact that when going from upright vacuuming to using the hand-held nozzle, you have to attach the hose to the base each time, and vice versa. Can't just be left plugged in.
Otherwise, good vacuum.

Great price, bought one of these a year ago and couldn't be happier with it
Nice find! But rather pay extra for 6 years guarantee

Nice post! But the 6 years guarantee is offered by Vax and therefore available on the Amazon price.

Still doesn't mention this anywhere on Amazon site

I would prefer Amazon service as I have prime plus it's cheaper. 6 years guarantee is offered by Vax. So buying from Amazon won't be an issue.

I already have this hoover. Was faulty after 4 months but did get a replacement sent out as mentioned its long guarantee. Is a good hoover how ever only on my living room carpet it doesn't hoover smooth on. It keeps pulling carpet all up when hoovering in a specific direction which is annoying.

Because unlike her indoors this thing sucks like an asthmatic old pensioner.

The Shark for £10 more has far better suction and it's adjustable, and also has Lift-Away for stairs, far better quality than this.

I have a total of 4 Vax machines spread over two houses, none this exact model (but one of them is a similar Air3). I have found the Vax company one of the very best to deal with for sales, delivery and after sales; the machines are all very good indeed (to be candid they are very much the same as Dyson et al, but very much cheaper) so I would recommend them very strongly. The 6 year warranty is excellent, and the company has a really good help line to deal with problems.
I've added some heat, this is a good vacuum cleaner at a very keen price from an excellent manufacturer.

There not bad vacuums for the money, you get what you pay for. The 6 year guarantee looks good on paper but is back to base. So if it goes wrong you have to send it back then they send you a refurb. Depends how long you can be without your vacuum if it goes wrong.

Last time my vax stopped working, they sent me an advanced replacement, then they didn't even ask for the old one back, they just asked me to take the bar code off and send them a photo of it cut into bits.
I got this cleaner a few weeks back for about £68, decent enough for the price. Good suction for now.
