I called Virgin Mobile sales line on 0800 064 3849 today and was offered following deal:
5000 Minutes
Unlimited Texts
6GB 4G Data (Unused 2GB rollover)
30 days sim only plan
£10 Month
According to the agent this deal is for existing customers only but new customers can try and see if it works out for them.
I will try and post the image of my latest bill (without the main details) as soon as the bill is ready.
Looking forward to receiving my sim within the next few days.

Virgin aren't to be trusted with pricing! Both my tv and mobile crept up in price all the time, like every few months. I'd been with them years, I'd signed my whole family up to them. They have a weird retention policy, and we all left, all 5 of us?
Pretty dumb really, and a weird business model. Now they are desperate again. Be warned.

There is three different bands for 4G in the Uk,800MHz,1800MHz and 2600MHz,the lower frequencies, the better.Virgin Mobile use the slowest 4G frequency at 2600MHz.

Depends who you talk to and talking from experience
You may have to make number of attempts to get this deal
It is easier if you are already a customer

will this work on "pay monthly sim" if I have a contract for 24 months? it should because my 2gb tariff has 6gb now with roll over so they should update my tariff right?

Rang them up today and they said it's £12 for the above deal.
Worst MVNO in the UK. They keep sending me emails to check my final bill even though I am no longer a customer. Or I can call 789! They are clueless. And to add to that data capacity across their rented (from EE) usage on the network is woeful.

Virgin is trying to take everybody off those plans that includes 084 and 087 numbers. They done it to me, my wife and few friends so give it a while before they do it to you and everyone else.

I hardly make any calls at all, and usually dial those numbers in the office from a landline or use saynoto0870. I can go more than a month without making a call from my mobile. it's more the internet stuff that I use it for
thanks for the warning though. I'm never sure which of those type of numbers is free or not so always look for local numbers instead

I rang them and got fobbed off. Was told it's 2500 mins and 6gb data for £12. I argued about the above deal and they said it's not available. And that it's nowhere on her system. She told me to ring back in 24 hours as it may not have 'kicked in' yet.

far as I understand if you rollover full 2gb data to the next month it would be 8gb.

Remember the 4g deal dosent give free calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers like your 3 g plan does. Not an issue if you dont make many of those calls.

Sounds a great deal. I would say that last year they were losing customers in droves because they kept putting prices up every few months. I was paying £8 then £12 then £15 then they said increase to £21 for these same Sim only 30 day deals. I said no and left. Can they be trusted to not play silly bu**ers again later this year when they have signed up a new batch of customers?
