Currys / PC World are (again) selling Three network data SIMs with 1Gb data valid for 30 days. Now £0.97 each with order and collect.
2 weeks ago they were reduced to £1.97 from £7.99 but now (if you can find them) they are £0.97.
I have used these before and they are just 'plug and play' in a Mifi device or a tablet.
If you want a fairly cheap, quick data fix then these could be for you. They also work abroad with the Feel at Home benefits - which doesn't include streaming of shows or music channels but does all email checking and internet browsing etc. Usually slow but it does work
Might be of use to someone.

Normally I never make a visit to Currys/PC world, however a few days ago I was off to the recycling and near one. Against my better nature to deal with them but the 97p 1GB sim was click'n'collect so I ordered 2. I went there feeling very sceptical...
So after 20 mins of faffing and looking for (or pretending to) this unicorn, they first tried to sell me 2 x 99p 321 starter sims, then admitted none in stock and 'this offer has been withdrawn from this store'. So sorry folks, all my usual prejudices about Currys/PC World confirmed.
Oh and one final twist their marketing wonks might like to know: Having been drawn into the store, I actually wanted to eye up some integrated white goods starting with a standard slot sized built in oven. Asked an attendant (while still waiting for those Three sims...). "Sorry we don't do them here". So ordered a Bosch oven from AO today.
So will Currys/PC World soon be going the same way as Comet? Serious question as I noticed there's a new "Instant Replacement' g'tee offer - 3 years and it would add, say £12-£15 to the cost of an Inkjet Printer - well my last one which was from PC World was landfill 14 months in. So is the Instant replacement deal worth it? Only if the chain continues to exist...

OP .. "2 weeks ago they were reduced to £1.97 from £7.99 but now (if you can find them) they are £0.97."
I didn't see this 2 weeks ago. :-(
But, fortunately enough, via an earlier incarnation of this HUKD Deal on here a few nights back, I was able to get me a handful of these for only 97p each!. :-)
I went to the Romford/Eastern Avenue Store for mine .. Blue water are the one's which were pegged as having 'Stock' left?, when I was doing my initial checkimg for some on both Tuesday AND Wednesday of this earlier Week .....

Bear with me if it's a stupid question but if I want this in the mifi to go abroad would I need to activate it here before I go or there? Could I then top it up if I run out of data whilst I'm away?

Hi - I have used them abroad and for me they have always self activated wherever I am. Just remember that the device into which you put the SIM needs to be a THREE device or it needs to be UNLOCKED to work with any SIM from any supplier

None anywhere near me sadly and just what I need for my MIFI when I go away at the end of the month.
Any ideas for the next best option? I'm new to the mifi thing and last time it was a right palaver and very expensive to get a Greek one set up.
