Great price, great movie, I remember leaving the cinema with my dad and little brother as a 7 year old thinking all my transformer favourites were all dead, I'll be scooping this one up!
Looking at the comments so far. You're all either deaf or hate Rock!! No one's talking about the most awesome soundtrack!!
Stan bush.. is the man!!

Price gets better!
Hot-Rod/Rodimus is also my favourite character from the G1 series (even though I'm a 90's kid, this cartoon tops everything)
I would of thought they would of 'limited' this steelbook as it's such a great collectors item for those who love both Transformers + Steelbooks.
For instance, my dad, he loves both and paid £22.99 for it when it was released and still has it sealed. He wants to watch it but rather has it as a 'collectors item' I managed to get the iTunes UV code for £3 off eBay so he kept it sealed
Heat btw

I also bought it at full price but had to crack it open and watch it. They did a great job on this release. Optimus has his blaster sound effect back too which all other releases after the VHS messed up. Little things, I know.

Never grow tired of this film, watched it every Saturday as a kid. Still get goose bumps when devastator merges for the kill.
On par with the 'here's a hint scene'

Oh I have the soundtrack. Who can forget "The Touch", "Dare" and "Instruments of Destruction".
Not from the UK according to their Amazon page. An alternative for those that are happy to wait still.

Can recall my sister taking me to the cinema to see this, I guess I was about 9 years old.. we both cried over the demise of Optimus. I've seen it since then but have always remained wary of watching it. Those old Optimus death scars never have healed

If you're not sure about double-dipping I'd say go for it at this price: new special features, a digital copy (iTunes), the nice steelbook, both widescreen and 4:3 versions, and the best transfer yet of, let's be honest, a shoddy looking and sounding movie.
At the moment this is easily the best version.

Then the music to Dare comes in......."Decepticons!"

Watched this last night. It really has had a lot of work put into remaster even over the special edition DVD I own. Thoroughly recommend it!
