Well for a quick guide on how your hearing is it has to be good. You can book an in store, detailed, hearing test if you still feel the need....all free as far as I can tell.

If you are knocking on a bit or have been subject to loud noises in the past you normally find the high pitched sounds you hear go first.

I did mine without headphones. I ticked that I had some and that carried on to see what happened. I did find it was necessary when listening to the different tones that I needed to press 'plus' repeatedly to actually hear the sounds before turning them down again to the level they suggest but it turns out I have 'good hearing' so, guess, what, I don't need to make an appointment all you cynics out there!

Please do not take this test result as gospel - I have mild hearing loss and have been wearing hearing aids since I was a young child (roughly 18 years) as without them I simply cannot function... This test says without hearing aids in, my hearing is "good", though with my hearing aids in, it becomes "fair" (i.e. worse) which simply isn't true.

My hearing is fine. But, I've noticed my neighbour keeps banging on the wall when I'm watching TV

That sounds very odd. I think if I were you I would advise Boots of this result.

Mrs had her mate around for a paddy's day drink last night and I know for a fact there's nothing wrong with my hearing apart from the ringing I woke up with this morning. HOT for those who live with a quiet partner though!!
