I've been using it for streaming BBC and online and rarely have a problem. You may need to set it to 480/720 setting but for little phone screens this isn't a problem. Until 5g comes out the networks are going to be screwing you over for 4g unfortunately.

Someone get this man a safety pencil and a bib.
Settle down child, decent 3G speeds are plenty for 99% of most people's needs.

Have you ever used a 4g signal for you're internet? If you think 3g is acceptable good for you, you obviously don't use your'e data for anything more than hotdeals and browsing!Only a muppet thinks 4g isn't a massive factor in mobile internet, 3g is useless for all kinds of data usage especially video streaming, 12gb of 3g is akin to a 250gb usb 2.0 memory stick just a headline to attract Joe average who doesn't know any better!

you sound like you've never used 3g........
I've used both and frankly while 4g is faster 3g is perfectly adequate for most things.
much like 38mb fibre is fine yet you can get much faster.......its newer and faster so you 'want' it you don't necessarily need it.
if you would like to enlighten us muggles then please have at it with you list of things that are 'useless for all kinds of data usage' would like a chuckle

Grow up, and please avoid sweeping statements that 99% of what people do is fine with 3g because quite frankly it really isn't. You just fell for the 12gb sucker line!

So 3g and Vodafone, so may as well just go back to a Nokia 3210 and call it quits with modern features.

Silly rabbit, 4g isnt about the top speed, its about the how fast it is when you have a low signal.

3G has a much higher latency than 4G if you use it for playing PC games on tethered internet.

They use Vodafone signal which is fantastic if you don't live in a city. I've tried EE, o2 and three and the signal is the best for me. I took this out about 6 months ago and it took a good 4 months to track and had to chase up with quidco. Came through tho in the end and terrific value.

They do have a point though, world has moved on and in many areas 3G can be patchy but 4G has better coverage. I dint use a lot if data but I would expect anyone getting this deal won't ever use the full 12GB and would probably be better off with a pay monthly sim. But if you have good 3G speeds in you area then it might be a good deal.
