Wouldn't Drink this **** for free . Since they took the percentage down to 4.8 it has become undrinkable. The old 5.2 percent and good beer can be bought from Belgium beer websites . The still OK 5 percent beer can be bought from.French sites . The rubbish 4.8 **** they sell in the UK can be bought from Asda .
Spend a little extra and treat yourself to a good beer .

I would of course pick a Westmalle Triple or Kwak over a Stella :innocent:
But when it comes to lagers, this is one of the few drinkable ones :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes that is all fine , but it is sad how these lagers once did taste like , to what they are now!
Its not just the strength of the beer , these 4.8% just do not sit right anymore!

£6.66 in glasgow Asda for 1 case in glasgow we don't fall for multi ply deals in Scotland lol we demand cheaper for a single case . You English should refuse to buy it until you get the same deal as we do in Scotland x

Err, no. You Scots aren't allowed multibuys because your caring government assumes you'll drink the lot the moment you get them home.

I've picked up 12 packs of Stella and 12 packs of Budweiser. Getting married in a few weeks time and this will do great for the reception

Re. Belgianbeerz, just looked at prices-very expensive. How do you get 40 bottles or cans posted for a tenner when shipping alone is €10's??

He means the delivery is a tenner! Belgian beer drinkers tend to be (and get) loaded

If you buy the bottles of Stella they give you a 15% discount . Yes they are more expensive then say this deal . Me personally would rather pay the bit extra and have a decent beer.

That's makes no sense at all we can choose to buy as many cases as we want . I could buy 20 cases and take them all home and drink them all lol
It's you who have to pay extra to buy one case we don't and overall the deal is cheaper in Scotland saving a whole 2 p for every 3 cases we buy lol

It's true. Whilst nobody's stopping you from buying 20 cases, the Scottish government has forbidden retailers north of the border from offering incentives to buy multiple packs of alcohol at a discounted rate, in order to protect you from yourself as it were. It might work out better if you only want to buy the one case but it isn't done to save you money.
We don't have that law in England and Wales (yet). Therefore retailers are able to set their prices in a way which tempts the customer to buy more than they often need.
EDIT Last time I went to Scotland (while back 2003) I also noticed in Dunfermline Asda that a lot of the cans were priced individually; per can. Similar to how they do in France and Germany. Down here the minimum you can usually buy in cans in a supermarket is a four pack.
