Is this game any good. Last good snowboarder game I played was Shaun palmer pro snowboarder on the ps2.

It's good fun, though I could only get the hang of the wingsuit. I was absolutely pants with the snowboard .

Easily the best snowboarding game since 1080 on the N64.
It takes a bit of getting used to and some practice to master so you will get a lot of ADHD kids telling you it sucks.

Nothing like SSX, SSX was more or a racer. This is more open world, go anywhere you want. It's a great game. takes a while to get the hang of the controls but when you do its great.

Played it for an hour on Xbox free weekend last weekend, and it's Sucky McSuck face.
I've got a friend who is into his extreme sports and owns this, and he even admits that the game is pants.

On a serious note... Loved the free weekend, good fun for sure

Only problem is with open world games there's plenty of times where you think what the hell am I meant to be doing.

Very tempted, last snowboard game I played was SSX Tricky which I loved, great soundtrack. Really on the fence to push the button

I don't understand why this game gets so much hate, especially at sub £30 prices. This is amazing value considering how big the game is, and that they released the Alaska DLC for free which greatly increases the base games content. Would definitely recommend, it's such a chilled out game

With you on this one. It's a great game to just chill out with. I think people get bored quickly if they are not being told what to do, where to go etc.

I played the free weekend on ps4, quite liked it. Its the sort of game for me that you pick up for a 30 minute blast then forgot about it for a while but keep coming back to it; so if I eventually buy it, it will be on via psn so that I don't have to bother digging out the disk each time I want to play it.

Honestly, people slating this game, saying their mates who are 'really into extreme sports but even THEY thought it was rubbish!' are either trolling or haven't played the game at all.
It's brilliant, if you're into skiing, snowboarding or extreme sports at all you will get on with it. Plays brilliantly and looks the part too, and there's a ton of content to get your teeth into. Don't listen to the idiots. I paid £45 for this on release and it's worth every penny at that price, let alone £19.99.
Heat from me.

Great game. Playing on Xbox but completely agree with buying digital. Sort of game you jump on for half an hour or an hour and just roam around. Last snowboard game I played and loved was Amped 2 or 3 (can't remember) and this is nearly as good. Bargain at this price. Would recommend to any snow fan.

Brilliant game but its a sim and ye its hard to pickup and get good, not quite up to the standards of amped2 but the best snowsports game since easily. If you thought SSX was a good snowboard game turn away now.

Different type of game. This one is more for people who like the real thing, closer to a sim than SSX. SSX is more of a 'game' if you know what I mean
