£7.50 for each set just now, they've been as low as £6.37 in flash sales - quidco as well.
And they come with a lifetime guarantee, the halfords advanced and professional stuff is excellent quality for the home diy'er or home mechanic - I'm a mech tech by trade and have destroyed lots of hand tools over the years, for the money the halfords stuff is about as good as you can get. There are occasional competitors such as the bahco 1/4 socket set that Amazon reduce every now and again.
I find Stanley tools to be really poorly made now. Better buying screwdrivers aimed at builders/car mechanics

Looks an alright set for the house, good selection and precision included.
Yes these are not Wera, Wiha or Facom but what do you expect for under £12.
Ive had cheap screwdrivers last years through occasional use. If your using the right driver for the fastener its really not a problem. Start mixing pozidrive and philips etc and any driver will wear.
Using daily however is another story.

Hot deal, these have a really nice feel but annoys me they use cheap soft metal bits to make a 14 piece screwdriver set sound as 34 given that it is not 34 screwdrivers - being screwed

Well that's another fine me you've gotten me in to Stanley.
What you're actually getting is 13 seperate screwdrivers and one multiple use screwdriver so Stanley advertising it as 34 piece is a bit naughty imo.
Stanley are no better than a lot of budget brands now.

Personally I've always thought Stanley tools were C rap for anything but DIY , so these are ok for the odd home job . Let be honest how often are you going to use most of them . Cheap enough to throw in the home tool kit

Stanley used to make top quality tools but the brand has just been bastardised now and is just another brand name slapped on cheap generic tools.

If you have a Halifax or Lloyds bank account or credit card with online access check your cash back extras or offers as they often do 12% cash back on Robert Dyas.

damn, awesome price, no stock, I always miss the good ones!
It's a real shame, Stanley used to be a quality brand, a few years back they got sold to a Chinese company and the quality immediately vanished, fine for changing a plug but not much else.

if these have been on sale in the past for £7.50n they are overpriced.
