Surely JC3 is worthy of consideration?

Cheapest price currently for Just Cause 3 is £8.12 at Greenman Gaming with code COMMUNITY5. It's always a gamble with these things. Remember that the additional £1.87 could get you a load of tosh. Still, it's worth a try for the extra couple of quid, I think.

They refunded me without issue as well. I had all the games apart from JC3 so not really worth keeping for me.

Cancelled it at about 11:30 and refunded 2 hours later. Had the same issue where I had all the games except Just Cause 3. Oh well...

This was a poor gamble on my part.... :disappointed:
If anyone wants to take the bundle off my hands for the entry cost you're welcome to it! PM me if interested...
Bah, I had an old email address on my account, followed their instructions to change it and the old one is still there greyed out.
A quick search on Google reveals I am not alone - so beware if you already have an account with a defunct email address that their own system won't let you change!

Actually it doesn't seem to give you JC3 right away. I thought so too, but just purchased and no JC3 to be found. I got an email with the link, but that leads to the page for the mystery box which will have download links when they announce the games...

"OVER 80 USD" worth of games for US box :smirk:
TBF, I think EU box have a better chance of giving you decent games since there is no RRP estimation given.

Heat for the deal, but since I'm not super interested in JC3 and I already own about 90% of Squeenix's games, I won't bite.
I'd be VERY interested in knowing what the mystery games are, if people wouldn't mind letting us know next week.

I was going to go for it but I'm out of the country and the store page's button for changing to UK refuses to change anything.

I already have 180 games on steam with most of them being un-played
I just completed Thief 3 days ago and I got that in a Christmas surprise box I hink it was about 3-4 years ago so mehh
£10 is not good either

Thinking about cancellation rights...
If I were Square Enix, I'd give out the Just Cause 3 keys in advance of the reveal of the other games. Why? Well, if people redeem their JC3 keys then they would presumably loose their automatic right to cancel and refund without reason in 14 days because the product has been "used".
So.... if you get your JC3 keys early but still want the option to refund, don't redeem it until you're sure you want to keep the bundle!

I'm guessing this is to compensate for the fact that we can insist on cancelling the order and a refund if we don't like the surprises* whereas in the US they can't.

*Assuming this is still the case?
Edit: Yes it is. Like the last times there's a notice on US site saying you can't cancel, and none on the EU site. That makes sense as under EU laws we're currently guaranteed a right to cancel, of course that may change in a couple of years.

Been thinking about getting JC3 just for a bit of mindless fun blowing stuff up once in a while, so gone for it. Thanks
And if I like any of the other games too, that's a bonus

There have been FF games in these mystery boxes before. Pretty sure the entire XIII trilogy has been in them at one time or another.

HAHA! No way I'm paying that much for this. I could've spared a fiver as usual but a tenner for a game I won't be playing any time soon (meaning I could get it later on for less) plus three more is a nope for me.

I wonder why there is a difference between the US and EU box this time, we've always had the same content o_O
Makes me wonder which one to buy :disappointed:
ST3123
20 Mar 17#17
In general yes but not for me personally as I have it already, in fact I have a lot of Square Enix titles so danger of getting duplicates is another reason I'll sit this one out. For anyone without JC3 and that actually wants it, this becomes a better deal admittedly....

You'd have to give it a go mate. It's one of the store fronts I've never actually tried purchasing from using a VPN.
can we buy the US version using a VPN? I use torguard, used to use hola, Opera has free US VPN and we just need to purchase it so even a free one that's slow would suffice?

Sorry but a cold from me. These seasonal square-enix surprise boxes (been going a good few years) have always been £4.99 in the past, now the prices suddenly doubles, maybe not terrible value depending on how the mystery games turn out but still puts the bundle in a whole different price bracket. For £4.99 it's low enough to take a punt on and not be too worried what games you get but for £9.99 you want ALL the games to be bloody good, which I have my doubts on.
So I won't be ordering this time, but will if they bring back the £4.99 price in future.....

Life Is Strange Episode 1 (plus 20% off voucher for the season pass)
Just Cause 1 and 2
Hitman Absolution Elite Edition
Deus Ex
Plus 50% voucher for Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
It was £3.99, too.

You never know. They may suprise us all and actually act like they are in someway associated with the Final Fantasy franchise. Because let's face it, when you see a Squeenix Sale, you know FF isn't anywhere near.

These things have been dissapointing as of late as they are running out of quality games to put in them without reusing games already in previous packs and they never give anything recent.

I'd have to agree. I think the benefit here is if you're looking for Just Cause 3 then the cheapest currently is around £8. I'd say it's definitely worth a shot for the remaining 3 titles for just under £2
