We’ve got a great deal for you this month on PlayStation Store! Spend £50 at PlayStation Store between now and 31 March (2017), and get a £10 wallet top-up voucher code in the first half of April, to redeem that month (local currency equivalents apply).
It doesn’t have to be a full game either, you can buy multiple products that add up to £50 or over (or local currency equivalent).
Note that the Qualifying Spend need not be performed in a single transaction but may be performed in a number of transactions during the Promotional Period.
Only one voucher code will be sent in April to those who are eligible (so you won’t get £20 if you spend £100 and-so-on), and the voucher must be redeemed that same month. For full Terms and Conditions, please visit https://playstation.com/legal/march-cashback
Sorry - the site is blocked at work...
Does it have ot be £50 in 1 go or a total of £50 over the month?

On Horizon presumably? It will be interesting to see if that is still eligible. There is no way for anybody to pre-order that game in March.
Unless what it means is if you bought Horizon before 01/03 then you are eligible because your pre-order transaction would have only become "completed" at 00:01 this morning.

How does that work? I pre-ordered that game digitally a few days ago but to pre-order it you had to buy it in February, not March.

Bear in mind you won't actually be credited with £10 on the PSN store - they send a code that has a really tight expiry date, like 2 weeks, to your PS4 notifications.
I got stung for £15 credit on a £100 spend last time.
I missed the notification coming in and not only would Sony not honour the deal a day after it had expired, they point blank refused to raise a complaint because 'Nothing would change'!!!
Make sure you're eagle eyed on the code coming in, as Sony will quite happily crap all over you if you don't see it or use it in time.

To be fair, Sony's communication seems particularly poor. For example, my friend and I recently received an email titled 'Your Play Highlights' with loads of stats about our gaming e.g. most played game, rarest trophy... Yet several of our other friends didn't. What's the logic there? Baffling.

Well, no email from Sony means they have decided my £75 spending did not qualify, or, that I'm days away from getting the voucher code. Sony really need to pull their finger out and issue the codes as they had promised to have done so by now.
Most of us don't even know if they've tracked our qualifying purchases, when they could have immediately have issued a confirmation of qualification as soon as £50 had been sent in March, that way we'd know we were going to get the code and would just sit back and wait a bit more. And a response to a Twitter post is not exactly keeping your customers informed, they need to post on all forms of social media and also send an email for those who choose not to use it.

I did get the stat email though. Really annoyed that my little nipper of a son got my rarest trophy on Plants VS Zombies. He beat a boss on crushing difficulty which I don't think he realised he did! All that effort I've put into platinuming my favourite games too.
Hotlipz
10 Apr 17#153
I agree, I should have qualified but haven't received an email or any notifications. They could have emailed us back in March to let us know.
I never receive emails from Sony, just purchase confirmation ones. I would like to get messages about store updates and offers etc, if they exist. I don't have Twitter.
Also, when is this mystery voucher going to expire? The end of April?
Denziloshamen
10 Apr 171#154
Why is it trivial? We spent £50 on the playstion store in the promise we would have received £10 back by now. Regardless of whether it has been delayed or not, the fact is we have plans for that additional credit and sometimes, due to sale prices, the timing of that voucher is crucial.
Maybe I had friends over this weekend and I had planned to buy one of the discounted PSVR titles, but was relying on having the additional credit so that I didn't have to top up my account. I'm blowed if I'm going to give Sony even more of my money when they can't deliver what they promise in return.
So your idea of trivial is a matter of principle for many of us.
silvercondor
10 Apr 17#155
That's the definition of first-world problems right there. If that's the biggest problem in your life, count yourself lucky. Seriously.

The term "first world problems" is such a childish and irrelevant point to make in order to try to discredit any concern a person might have that is not overly important in the scheme of things. Here's the thing, we do live in the 'first world' so everything other than getting fresh water and enough food not to die, or being killed as a part of someone else's war is a trivial matter I'm comparison.
Yeah, we are lucky to be in that situation but there's not much I can do about where I was born and all of my family before me.
So, this issue is only an issue to those it affects, but it's still an issue. This isn't all I have to worry about, but it's something I'm waiting for and waiting for it to happen automatically. I don't really want to have to go down the route of complaining to Sony about it so am here seeing what others in the same situation have experienced so that we can all get an idea of what is going on. It really doesn't need you with your "first world problems" comments adding nothing to the discussion. You also didn't read my post either, so not sure why you even commented on it. I am fully aware that the sale is on until the end of the month, but I also clearly stated that I had hoped to be able to spend the voucher this weekend to play one of the VR games on sale with friends. Not sure when the chance to play with friends will occur again, so I might not even bother getting the game now. Also, as stated in my post that you didn't read, it would seem that as I had not received an email at the time of posting I was unlikely to receive any code for at least another couple of days (which meant I was fairly certain the code wouldn't turn up on the 9th, and it didn't).
My circumstances are not relevant to you in the slightest, so best not to try and judge and make trivial statements. Many people are interested to know what is going on and will continue to ask questions until we all start to receive the codes in our notifications.

Even in the grand scheme of first-world videogame problems, yours doesn't rank very highly I'm afraid. Maybe if you'd bought a £50 voucher and it was somehow rejected at your expense pending investigation, or your account was hacked/locked, or your bank details stolen, or your trophy history was lost, or a software update had bricked your machine... then I'd have some sympathy. But at present all you're complaining about is getting a voucher a day or two late.
And your circumstances are very relevant to me when you continually broadcast them in a series of pointless, whiny messages.
Take a step back and think about what you're actually complaining about here.

What exactly are you doing here? If all you're going to do is argue with people that are upset with Sony for yet another delay then there is no point to you even saying anything to anyone!..he has a very valid point! You're the one whining and being childish for arguing with people that have issues with Sony..it is the 10th and still no email or codes have been sent..we are being told the same message every time we ask Sony what's going on..?!..please no more stupid comments especially if all you're going to do is argue a pointless argument!!..this is between the people and Sony! Not you and the first world problems.

I'm here because I'd be interested to know if/when people get their vouchers, and also for any updates from Sony (like the Tweet that was shared before; I don't use Twitter myself). Ultimately I'm patiently awaiting my voucher code without crying about it. You should try doing the same.
What came first: the pointless moaning, or me pointing out that people are pointlessly moaning? Freedom of speech means that, yes, you're allowed to have a whinge on here if you're so inclined, but likewise I'm allowed to express my feelings when I get countless notifications not with people sharing meaningful information, but with utterly pointless complaining. "Boo hoo, I really wanted my voucher on Saturday." Yes, and...?

We'll just ignore the unpleasantries shall we (not seeing himself as the cause, there is no point continuing any dialogue with him).
The latest tweet I can find from Sony a few hours ago is just repeating the same info they gave out on Friday - there's been a delay, you'll get it in a couple of days.
This isn't really satisfactory communication as they have been stating the same for a while now, with dozens of tweets from Sony stating that all vouchers would be issued out by the 10th, we are now being told that is not the case and it could be the 12th or could be whenever they feel like sorting the issue out. Seems like some have got their vouchers already, so not really sure what the issue can be.

why a hold up? is digital, they had plenty of time to get it sorted. how can their be a delay? if I'm late making payments I get a fine, I can't just say sorry every few days

I know right. As I've previously said, they must have known as soon as the £50 spend had been made and then just need to set up a list of qualifying accounts as they go. Sweep up the final accounts in the first couple of days of the month and then issue the codes. Not sure why they're making such a meal out of it and how they have managed to issue some codes and not others. Seems like they've got one person working on this in their promo department and they don't know what they're doing.

Same here. Voucher code sent via email. Would seem they couldn't get the notification method to work properly (unless they send it there too).

"Must be redeemed and spent by 30 April"!!
Now that goes against what they've been saying on twitter. They had previously confirmed redeem by 30th spend whenever.
Doesn't bother me too much as I already have two games in my basket to buy, but might annoy others wanting to hold on to it for a while longer.

Any reason to have three accounts though? Just curious really, as I can't think of a situation you'd need three and also spend £50 on each one in a month.

As the email suggests it must be spent by 30/04, I've a couple of stupid questions.
How will they confirm you've spent their £10?
If I've £20 and spend £10 is it the "oldest" credit spent first, or, as it's the only credit that can expire, is it the free credit?
That's a very good question actually. I'm not sure. I sure as hell hope it's the latter though!

Got it now. Came via a notification on the Ps4. Didn't receive an email at all.
Opening post
It doesn’t have to be a full game either, you can buy multiple products that add up to £50 or over (or local currency equivalent).
Note that the Qualifying Spend need not be performed in a single transaction but may be performed in a number of transactions during the Promotional Period.
Only one voucher code will be sent in April to those who are eligible (so you won’t get £20 if you spend £100 and-so-on), and the voucher must be redeemed that same month. For full Terms and Conditions, please visit https://playstation.com/legal/march-cashback

I have about £45 in my account right now and am likely to buy the EA Family Bundle very soon...
I was debating Titanfall 2 too but I've just seen that Tethered (PSVR) has dropped
I'll postpone Titanfall 2 until next Wednesday when the reductions overlap for a day
Super hot btw - really happy I postponed a few purchases recently :sunglasses:

I'll log in with my 2nd PSN account and see if it promts again - giz a mo...
Sorry - must have accidentally clicked something the 1st time - no prompt on either link with the other account
Unless what it means is if you bought Horizon before 01/03 then you are eligible because your pre-order transaction would have only become "completed" at 00:01 this morning.
Any items available in an Applicable Store (including any pre-order purchases of the Horizon Zero Dawn game completed before the Opening Date).
No worries, I may just grab the Unravel deal that was on here since I was considering picking that up anyway.

Cheapest game I could find was PieceFall for 99p or Kung Fury: Street Rage £1.19 (on offer).

One thing worries me though: while I was looking through the sales, I noticed that a load of PS+ games that I 'bought' no longer show as 'purchased' - Freedom Wars, Gravity Rush, Sly Cooper etc. all just show up as normal. I'm currently subscribed to PS+ and haven't let it lapse for anything close to 6 months, so I don't know what's going on.
'“Voucher Send Timing”
Between 1st and 9th April 2017.'

Pre-orders are included don't worry.
For spending £50 at PlayStation®Store this March, we’re sending you a £10 wallet top-up voucher code to use in April.
It’ll appear in the Notifications area on your PS4™ between 6 and 7 April.
If you currently have more than £10 credit and want something in the sale, buy it now and then the £10 voucher will top you back up again.
I'm guessing it will be tomorrow for most as that is after one of the current sales ends.

To be fair, Sony's communication seems particularly poor. For example, my friend and I recently received an email titled 'Your Play Highlights' with loads of stats about our gaming e.g. most played game, rarest trophy... Yet several of our other friends didn't. What's the logic there? Baffling.
(and people say psplus isn't worth it...)
I received the email saying it would be the 6-7th. How can I call them?
I did get the stat email though. Really annoyed that my little nipper of a son got my rarest trophy on Plants VS Zombies. He beat a boss on crushing difficulty which I don't think he realised he did! All that effort I've put into platinuming my favourite games too.
I never receive emails from Sony, just purchase confirmation ones. I would like to get messages about store updates and offers etc, if they exist. I don't have Twitter.
Also, when is this mystery voucher going to expire? The end of April?
Maybe I had friends over this weekend and I had planned to buy one of the discounted PSVR titles, but was relying on having the additional credit so that I didn't have to top up my account. I'm blowed if I'm going to give Sony even more of my money when they can't deliver what they promise in return.
So your idea of trivial is a matter of principle for many of us.
Also, they always said the 9th, so that could've been last night for all you knew.
Finally, aren't the discounted VR games on sale for another 10 days or so?
Yeah, we are lucky to be in that situation but there's not much I can do about where I was born and all of my family before me.
So, this issue is only an issue to those it affects, but it's still an issue. This isn't all I have to worry about, but it's something I'm waiting for and waiting for it to happen automatically. I don't really want to have to go down the route of complaining to Sony about it so am here seeing what others in the same situation have experienced so that we can all get an idea of what is going on.
